The Gem Palace is popular all over the world. The visitors to Jaipur do not leave the city without visiting Gem Palace. It was started by my great, great grandfather. We have been here in this premises for more than 150 years now. So I am the from the sixth generation. Alot of people come here. Not only from abroad but from India also, to buy Kundan-Meena work for which Jaipur is very famous.
Place is fabulous I had to come and see it. I heard so much about it. It represents the nine planets and it has some georgeous anomolly work on the back of the necklace. These are pieces which you would not really be very keen to sell, but we would rather like to keep them here, display for everybody to see. Because those are pieces of art. Jaqualynn Kennedy has bought from here. Prince Charles and Lady Diana admired our jewelery. And the list is endless.
Can you show us the most expensive one, if it is possible for you? That, I won't. I won't. This is the factory of Gem Palace. I would love to buy everything. This is Subhashish Bharuka, showing you Jaipur.

5 hidden treasure of india Worth Millions
5 hidden treasure of india Worth Millions
By the time of independence, India was battered, bruised and left wounded. Ancient India was called a ‘Golden Sparrow’ because it was a wealthy and prosperous place. However, if we say we are a poor country now, it would not be completely right.
You’ll be shocked to know that there are five places in India that have been found with huge amount of wealth amounting to millions, kept hidden from the world. The owners of such huge wealth, mostly rulers of various princely states, probably chose to keep their most precious possessions underground to avoid frequent plundering by foreign invaders.
Among them, the following five places have come into public view, but imagine how many more such treasures could be hiding from the world! One of the five places is this temple

Indian Street Food Jaipur
■ JAIPUR, INDIA: The biggest surprise of my India journey was how good indian food is. Especially the indian street food. Therefore when our bus from New Delhi to Jaipur did a pit stop I was mighty excited to run out to see what culinary delights and secret food treasures I could find. As usual the price I paid is most likely not what the locals would but who cares? The food was great and it powered me up for the remaining 5 hours of the bus journey.

जयगढ़ के किले में छुपा है अरबों का खजाना !

Underground network of tunnels - Amer Fort Jaipur India - A walk through - Dr Narotam Dewan
These forts were built by Hindu kings of Rajasthan who had made a diplomatic pact with the Moghals Muslim kings in Delhi and started a relationship. They use to fight along side the Moghals and the booty used to be kept by them while the land so conquered use to go to the Moghals. These pacts protected them and made them prosperous while the similar other Kings in the desert or semi desert areas of India know as Hind at that time continued to oppose and fight against the Muslim Moghal kings and suffered heavy losses. In one such popular battle of Haldi Ghati it is said that one of the minsters of Moghal King Akbar informed him that their own cannons are killing their own soldiers fighting for them under the King of Jaipur, Man Singh. He said do not bother the Kafirs are getting killed any way on both sides so let it be.
These tunnels connect the two forts one down hill i.e. Amber Palace and the other up hill i.e. Jai Garh Fort. Some portion of these tunnels is still not discovered. These were basically meant to make quick and unnoticed movements of soldiers from one fort to another and to make soldiers emerge at the rear of the enemy and attack them with surprise. It is believed that lot of treasures are hidden at many places under these palaces and in the sides of these tunnels as the amount of gold collected at that time was beyond any imagination.

This final video of our Kartika parikrama 2015 consists of highlights of the many places in Sri Vrindavan dhama that we visited. No doubt all devotees who participated hold memories of that month very dear to their hearts. We are grateful to Ananta Vrindavan dasa for capturing the special moments of the parikrama on video. No doubt so are the many Vaisnavas around the world who eagerly followed our sacred journey around Vrindavan through his work. We invite all such devotees to join our parikrama next year! Sastra speaks unequivocally about the importance of visiting the places of Lord Krsna’s pastimes:
“Certainly no means of perfection is superior to the worship of Sriman Madan Gopala’s lotus feet. That worship yields results far beyond what one could expect. It should be performed mainly through nama-sankirtana, along with reverence and affection for the many places of Sri Gopala’s pastimes, places which one should regularly visit.”

Maharajas & Mughal Magnificence — A Collection of Extraordinary Treasures | Christie's
Rahul Kadakia, Christie’s International Head of Jewellery, introduces some of the many storied pieces from an incredible collection of royal jewels and jewelled objects that’s set to make auction history.
‘This is living history in your hand,’ says Rahul Kadakia, International Head of Jewellery at Christie’s, of a stunning trove of jewels that date back nearly 500 years to the early part of the Mughal dynasty, which ruled in India from 1526 to 1857.
India’s rich culture of jewellery is partly the result of natural circumstance. The mines of Golconda yielded the highest grade of diamonds; Kashmir produced the rarest and most beautiful sapphires; while the greatest emeralds arrived in India from Colombia through commercial exchange via the Portuguese-controlled ports of Goa.
Jewellery in the Mughal tradition was an integral aspect of articulating authority, with eyewitness accounts from the height of the Mughal Empire revealing the extent to which rulers valued gems for their rarity, physical properties and provenance.

आज भी रहस्य बना हुआ है Rajasthan के इस Fort में छिपा अरबों का खजाना ! Mystery of Jaigrah Fort
Rajasthan, the land of the valor, is famous for its courage, courage and sacrifice. Every city has its own unique identity. There have been many impenetrable fortifications on the land of Rajasthan, but there is a fort here that has hidden a secret in its own way so far. The name of this fort is Jaigarh. This mysterious fort is located in Jaipur city of Rajasthan. Jaigarh fort is also one of the few military buildings of medieval India in Jaipur. The palaces, gardens, water stitches, other stores, arsenal, a well-organized artillery factory, the temple and the world's largest cannon - Jayabanan make it a more fascinating place. The spreading piers, the turret and the entrance of Jaigarh spread the story of its strength. Jaigad fort, called the pride of Jaipur, has kept a state of emergency. In 1975 when there was an emergency in the country, Indira Gandhi had taken action in search of hidden treasures in this fort.
The search that began on June 10, 1976, ended in November 1976. When this inquiry was over, the government officially said that there is no treasure in the fort, but many people doubt it on this statement of the government. The biggest reason for this is that when the army finished its operation, then Delhi-Jaipur Highway was closed for the common people for one day. It is said that during this time, the treasures found in the fort of Jaigad were brought to Delhi in trucks and the government wanted to keep it hidden from the public eye. The confirmation of the highway closure is from many reliable sources, but the government has never given an explanation for it. The estimation of this treasure would have been worth a whopping 128 crore rupees. On August 11, 1976, Bhutto wrote a letter to then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, in which Pakistan considered herself entitled to the wealth of Jaigad ... A section of historians also believed that there was a treasure in Jaigad Fort, but the king Jaisingh II has developed the city of Jaipur from that. Now the question is: If the government did not get the treasure of Jaigad, then he went to the treasure? These questions are still buried in the pages of history as a mystery.
