Meeting With The Red Panda | G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo Nainital | Vlog 5 | Ubmuse
Ain't he Cute? When I first saw this beautiful creature, he straight away reminded me of Rocket from 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. Well yeah Rocket is a raccoon and here's a red panda but the facial features do seem somewhat alike. Although I am pretty sure this baby panda would have been as cool as Rocket himself.
The Chinese call the red panda hun-ho, which translates to “fire fox” because they are the color and size of a fox. Like raccoons, red pandas dip their paws in water to get them wet and then lick them off to drink and the sight is pretty cute to witness.
I clicked this beauty in G.B. Pant high altitude zoo today. While there were 3 of them in the enclosure, only this little one turned out to be a poser. The other too were busy dozing off or rushing around the enclosure.
