This week we were able to hike the high coast of Sweden with our new friends Catti, Daniel, Leia and Lucas. They showed us their beautiful town of Sundsvall and we never wanted to leave.
Once we finally talked ourselves onto the train we went down to Stockholm to visit our brother-in-law's cousins and were able to go to a theme park there!
We loved Sweden!!!!

High Coast of Sweden- Christmas Holidays 2019
Christmas break is a perfect time to enjoy the little things, try new ones and spend time on the fresh air with friends & family.
December 2019 was pretty intensive. Here comes some highlights of our small adventures.
We made a big snowman, hiked in Skuleskogen National Park, took some ice baths and saw beautiful sunsets.
I also tried to ski for the very first time in my life (me and kids- they were not se scared).
I also tried my fresh new snowshoes (got them from Santa).
Winter is still somewhere on the way, not much snow or cold yet. But we are waiting.

Sweden Today touring the High Coast - Skuleberget
During the last ice age 20.000 years ago a sheet of ice covered large parts of Europe and had it’s epicenter at the High Coast. The weight of the ice suppressed the land but following the glacial meltdown the land has been, and is still, rising out of the sea. This is why The High Coast became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
At Skuleberget you can visit Naturum – a centre where visitors can learn more about the national park and its geological history.
And don’t miss the opportunity to climb the mountain by means of one of Europe’s largest Via Ferrata-trails. An unforgettable adventure surrounded by stunning nature.
