Redpoint Worcester: Mannequin Challenge
A little rushed so a tad on the dark side and with the odd mover, but tremendously fun to do. A huge thank you to the staff and customers at Redpoint Climbing Centre in Worcester for allowing me to do this.

Cockermouth Leisure Centre Climbing Wall by King Kong Safety Mats by Eveque
Eveque have been developing and manufacturing sports equipment in the UK for over 35 years. Eveque mats are British made in our Northwich factory and are manufactured using flame retardant covers and combustion modified foam as standard.
Eveque Climbing Wall Matting.
Like any fun activity, the enjoyment is increased when there is an element of safety and peace of mind attached to it. At Eveque, we pride ourselves on our service and wherever necessary we will visit your site to get an accurate measure. We provide close consultancy during the design process to ensure all your needs are met. All our mats are then manufactured in Northwich and shipped complete to be installed either by our team or in many cases we can reduce costs by working with your centre staff to complete your installation.
We offer a range of options and have completed many bespoke installations. We always endeavour to assess and respond to our customer’s specific needs and during this process have developed many unique features: Chamfered edges for sit starts, re-enforced drop zones for high wear areas, modular drop zones for interchangeability, extra carpet wear-sheets, bonded carpet tops to create smoother surfaces and carpet covered wall pads for added protection are just a few of our innovations.
Most bouldering walls up to 4.5metres require 300mm matting to conform with BMC safety guidelines thebmc.co.uk , however, training rooms and smaller walls of up to 2.5metres may only need 200mm matting. Eveque provide both options with a choice of finishing and construction.
Eveque solutions for climbing walls including:
Bouldering Wall Matting:
• Standard depths of 300mm or 200mm. For other depths please ask.
• Our easy to clean, modular Bouldering Wall Matting is manufactured with composite foam construction and a choice of PVC or bonded carpet tops.
• All our mats are joined securely top and bottom using 200mm wide Hook & Loop joining strips.
• There are 9 carpet colours and 5 PVC colours to choose from. We will design and build the mats to fit your area. If you have any special requests please contact us and we will do our best to find you a solution.
• Eveque can also take care of the fitting or we will work with your team which helps to reduce cost of the labour for the installation.
Hanging Matting.
• Our hanging matting is suitable for Schools and Sports Halls. They provide a designated start area and it will hang flat against the wall in storage to prevent unsupervised climbing while to wall is not in use.
Wall Matting
• Developed for added protection of hard surfaces, some of our customers requested the same carpet finish as their mats be used as a cushioned wall surface. Wall matting can be a useful addition in confined areas of your installation or to enhance the aesthetic look of your area.
Custom Pads and Girder/Post Protectors
• Eveque have developed and produced many custom bonded or sewn covers that can assist with safety concerns. If you have hard edges, metal girders or posts that you would like to cover with safe protective padding. Please contact us with your requirements and we will design and make a cover to suit your needs.
Eveque Climbing Wall Matting is enhancing the climbing experience for climbers across the UK.

HIDDEN in this Building is a 100 YEAR OLD ABANDONED Swimming Pool
Hidden through a door at a local swimming baths is this stunning 100 year old seemingly abandoned swimming pool. The pool is part of a swimming centre which is open to the public however this particular pool remains un-renovated and decaying.

Exploring the dilapidated ruins of civilisation, abandoned buildings, creepy theme parks, military bases, and underground vaults containing the remnants of a by gone era. And with a bit of comedy and humour chucked in there too, can't be too serious about these things.

[High] Service Jackson's (mod.) service lift/elevator @ Guy's Hospital
This used to be a Plat-Schindler which you can find the link in the description below (2012). From the modernisation they have replaced button panel and placed on the right side. It is very helpful that every floor has now an indication for the position of the lift. The sound of the lift is pretty amazing, you feel as you are going in the rocket despite the initial speed.

The Leisure Centre Presents: Rave New World
The 1980s – a truly golden era for The Leisure Centre. Late nights, bright lights and bass that tore your spandex tights. Power moves, hi-top shoes, leotards and gold tabards. But that was the 1980s. A decade of boom and bust. And when the dream was over, they wanted more…
Fast-forward to the year 2085. Having re-wired the space-time continuum, a crack team of Freestyle Leisure Consultants descended upon a distant, neon-drenched dystopia. A dreamscape dimension where jungle jedis rub shoulders with robotic ravers on the astral plane, and cyborg selectas pump out the electronic sounds of past, present and future.
With many core members lost in the early 21st century, time-travelling superstar and golden girl of The Leisure Centre camp DeLorea Glitz must return and recruit a gang of miscreants to occupy and protect their new HQ in 2085. A land of opportunity...
...a Rave New World.

Why can't we fly a plane into space ?
Why can’t we fly a plane into space, what stops it from just flying higher and higher until we are in space?, sounds like a daft question but it has interesting implications that mean we might not be that far from a plane that can fly into space.

Well, there several issues but assuming we are in something like a normal jet airliner, then one of the main problems is the air, or lack of it as we get closer to space.
A plane flies because as it is propelled forward, the wings, which are shaped to make the air flow faster over the top of them than the bottom, generate lift. As the plane goes faster the wings create more lift and when the lift is greater than the weight of the plane, it will climb up into the air.
For our plane to continue to climb it needs more speed to increase the lift. If you throttle back on the speed a bit, the plane will settle in to level flight and if you decrease the speed the plane will start to fall as lift from the wings is not enough to overcome the weight of the plane.

Stockport County F.C.
Stockport County Football Club is a semi-professional football club in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers, the team adopted their name in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport. They have played at Edgeley Park since 1902, traditionally in blue and white, and are nicknamed The Hatters after the town's former hat-making industry.
Stockport County joined the Football League in 1900 and competed in it continuously from 1905 to 2011. The team spent most of their history in the lower reaches of the Football League, but the 1990s were more successful with the club competing in the First Division for five seasons; however, instability on and off the pitch eventually led to Stockport falling back to the lower divisions. They are currently the longest surviving Football League team to drop out of the league, having played in the league for a total of 110 years. The club started the 2011–12 season in the Conference National, having been relegated from Football League Two at the end of 2010–11. At the end of 2012–13, Stockport were relegated to the Conference North.
