#TOURISMMATTERS - Hike Bike
Tourism matters to Icelanders, as one of the biggest trades in the country. Everyone benefits from it and the communities grow and improve all over. Tourism has become one of the pillars we build our country on.
Ragnar Baldvinsson is the owner of Hike&Bike in Reykjahlid, next to Lake Myvatn. He loves to both hike and bike and seized the opportunity to buy the company just a few years ago. He now combines his hobby with his job, giving people a whole new way to experience the wonders of nature around Lake Myvatn.

WALKINICELAND - Walking across Iceland
WALKINICELAND - Walking Across Iceland
A fantastic adventure on the island of fire and ice, told from a different point of view: a long walk through thirty-six cult places of the Icelandic earth.
From Rekjavik, across the Golden Circle, up to the wilderness on the way of Kjölur, between two glaciers, the Langjökull and Hofsjökull. From the capital of Whalewatching, Husavik, on the shores of Lake Myvatn, surrounded by majestic waterfalls, millennial volcanoes and solfataras that make the moonscape full of colorful shades.
Leaving from 39 degrees going up to the Blue Lagoon to 5 degrees of lost Askja, in the most impenetrable heart of the island. From the spectacular fjords of the west coast, right down to the bitter cold of the glacial Jökulsárlón Lagoon and Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. From the peaks of the multicolored rhyolite Landmannalaugar, the verdant slopes of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which became famous for its recent eruption.
These are just some of the wonders of nature that this trip allowed us to see and enjoy in all its full wild beauty. A two weeks' walk which has left in our heart a deep and indelible memory of this land, we want to share with all of you with WALKINCELAND.

WALKINICELAND - Walking Across Iceland
