Perfect Saturday for a spearfish with mates. Down at Hill 60 with Davo and Wilso, not a ripple in sea. Ended up with 11 fish in total, saw a big old cuttlefish and old stingray who had seen better days.
The videos have not been enhanced in any way. the only modifications is the removal of sound and added transitions between clips. Hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

HILL 60 PORT KEMBLA VLOG - 27
HILL 60 PORT KEMBLA VLOG
Port Kembla's highest point, Hill 60, overlooks the Five Islands and Red Point. Hill 60, originally the site of an Aboriginal settlement, was used by the army during World War II to make a coastal gun emplacement known as Illowra Battery. In September 1942, Aboriginal inhabitants were forcibly evicted from the area.[7]It has remained in the army's ownership and is now a public lookout reserve, despite a vigorous campaign to return some of the land to its Aboriginal owners. Although not technically open to tourists, the tunnels are open, and can be explored by foot. The entrance to the tunnels is located almost under the coastguard tower on Hill 60, and can be seen down the left when standing at the information board, facing southeast.

Hang Gliding Landings - Four landings at Hill 60
Four landings at Hill 60, south of Wollongong NSW Australia.
The beach landings can be trickey as a bit cross wind, and then a long walk to the track and pack up area in the park.
So I aimed for the park, following Mark's path but landed on the right hand side of the park that apparently cops the worst of the rotor off the headland out front.

NSW bushfires: 60-70m flames confront firefighters in the Blue Mountains
Vision shot by the Terrey Hills Rural Fire Service brigade shows immense flames near Mount Tomah on the northern edge of the Blue Mountains national park. The Gospers Mountain fire, which began six weeks ago, has become a megablaze in which several fires have combined to the north and west of Sydney, covering almost 400,000 hectares and stretching almost from Lithgow to the NSW central coast. Temperatures well above 40C were forecast for western Sydney, other parts of NSW and several other states later in the week
