We went to St Nicholas Park in Warwick for a fun family day out with our 17-month old toddler. We hired a dragon pedalo and cruised past Warwick Castle, enjoyed a picnic underneath the blossom and ran about the beautiful gardens!

Warwick Castle|Kenilworth Castle[castle adventures]
Hello and welcome back to new adventure.Let's travel to castles in United Kingdom. This is my goal to travel most of castles in United Kingdom.Every two weeks I will travel to two or three castles.I will start with England and then Wales and Scotland. We will see how it will goes.if you want to be part of this journey then subscribe.I already been in Nottingham and Oxford castle.
This time we are going to Warwick and Kenilworth castle. Also I will put short description about castles,it will be like educational video too.
Warwick castle.
Impressive remains of large medieval castle. Built shortly after after the Norman Conquest of England in 1068.Normally constructed to control strategic points and approaches, this castle occupies a loop of the River Avon.In 1604 James I granted the castle to Sir Fulke Greville, who lavished vast sums of money on modernising the castle and to create a comfortable country house from the crumbling ruins of the medieval fortress.
It was owned by the Greville family until 1978 when it was bought by the Tussauds Group.
Kenilworth castle.
Ruined remains of a medieval castle / palace fortress.Perhaps best known as the home of Robert Dudley, the love of Queen Elizabeth I,who in 1575 created this semi-royal palace in order to impress his Queen.Kenilworth was actually founded around 1120 by Geoffrey de Clinton,Chamberlain to Henry I,who constructed the strong central keep.By damming and diverting local streams, huge water defences were added. In 1649, Kenilworth was partly destroyed and the moat drained by Parliamentary forces to prevent it being used as a military stronghold again.

PROPERTY SOLD: Manor Farm Cottages Flecknoe Warwickshire CV23 8AT
Three Bedroom Semi-Detached Character Property For Sale in Flecknoe, Warwickshire.
Situated amongst some of the most beautiful homes in Warwickshire, at the end of a private road is this attractive character property offering a peaceful countryside lifestyle at a price that you would not expect in the village of Flecknoe.
This lovely home presents several features that makes it a highly sought after property – and it is available with no upper chain.
The location itself has to be it’s most notable attribute. The drive into the village alone is impressive and the views are extremely appealing. If you have never been to Flecknoe, we strongly recommend at least driving through and having a look, it may not be on your property search radar (yet) as properties for sale in the village of this size are uncommon.
?The property sits in a courtyard of similar character properties, tucked away – you would never know it was here.
There are two designated parking spaces next to the property with other spaces available for visitors.
Downstairs the property benefits from a good size kitchen/diner with double French doors into the front garden that is enclosed by a brick wall and shrubbery – adding even more privacy.
The kitchen/diner is accompanied across the hall by a separate utility room with an attractive window light in the roof and downstairs cloakroom/WC.
To the rear of the property is a cosy lounge with a recently fitted log burner that also features character double french doors leading into the rear garden.
This then leads into a good sized second reception room that is currently used as an office but there are many opportunities here including a playroom, family room, games room, gym or even a downstairs bedroom. This additional room also has character French doors leading out to the rear garden.
The property has been finished internally to a high standard and has a neutral theme through out. It doesn’t require any work (unless you want to have a change of colour scheme to suit you).
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a good sized third bedroom with a family bathroom. Both double bedrooms are dual aspect flooding them both with natural light as well as both of them benefiting from built in wardrobes.
Outside is a private rear garden that benefits from the sun shining on it all evening, it’s an ideal garden for a spot of Al-fresco dining.
Location
Flecknoe has no major transport routes going through the village making it a very quiet and peaceful place to live.
It sits approximately one mile from the A425 connecting Daventry to Southam so very quiet, but not far from road links.
It is a very picturesque village that sits on top of a hill close to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire border and has a great community spirit. It benefits from a local public house ‘The Olive Bush’ and a traditional butchers ‘The Chopping Block’.
Braunston is another local picturesque village nearby that offers many further local facilities if you require them.
The Grand Union Canal runs next to the village making it an ideal location for walks.
Properties within Flecknoe and surrounding villages attract a lot of attention so to avoid any disappointment, book your viewing early and a member of the Campbells team will be happy to show you around. We have more information too if you have any questions.
We will be opening the property for an Open House very shortly, so give us a call to book your place.

Warwick Castle. Kingmaker's Medieval Fortress. HD
Warwick Castle is a medieval castle surviving virtually intact to present day. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century.
Now looming high over the banks of the River Avon the video shows what a commanding fortress Warwick Castle presented to potential enemies.
Also the video shows the ruins of the old Warwick Bridge over the river and Mill Garden.
Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England.
Clanricarde Gardens, Notting Hill Gate, London
We are pleased to offer this excellent refurbished two double bedroom two bathroom ground floor flat in this delightful stucco fronted period property close to Notting Hill Gate
Arundel Castle, West Sussex, England
Arundel Castle was established by Roger de Montgomery in 1067 as part of William the Conqueror's program to establish new fortifications. Since the 11th century it has served as the home for the Duke of Norfolk. The current Duke, and his family, preserve the monument, allowing public visits, (while retaining a little privacy for themselves). We were grateful for their hospitality.
The castle has been extensively restored, changed, and remodeled over the centuries - but in a thoughtful manner. Today visitors can explore ancient, (and more modern), areas that provide a genuine feeling for this exquisite monument.

Peacocks in England
Warwick Castle in England had a peacock garden. There were more than a dozen of them wandering around. That sound you hear in the background is the peacocks. It scared us the first time we heard it.
