A popular promenade in South Hampshire has been closed for the festive season after the sea defences were damaged.
The walkway at Hill Head near Lee-on-the-Solent has been closed and a fence erected.

14th November Autumn Storm at Hill Head, Hampshire
Storm force winds lashing the coastline around the time of a sting jet in a deep atlantic depression passing through! Gusts were recorded at close to 80 mph in nearby Lee-on-the-Solent whilst the gusts peaked at 100mph at the Needles lighthouse on the Isle of Wight at roughly the same time on the making of this video clip.
