St. Brigid's Well~ Killare
very near the Hill of Uisneach is St. Brigid's Well- over a field just close to the Uisneach Inn-there is remarkable peace and healing at this beautiful place of ancient grace -we give thanks and praise to the Creator for the sacred waters of the pure springs which fill these holy wells flowing from deep within the bosom of our Mother Earth- i dont know the age of this well but the presence of the Goddess is very much here ~the birdsong celebrating Bealtaine is a joy bringing deep gratitude-
Uisneach Hill 2011
Bonfire at the festival in the middle of Ireland at an ancient site that has only been re-kindled in recent times (no-pun intended) Where Celts met Egyptians and all tribes in-between. There were some bands playing there too. Didn't get to see much of that - too busy soaking up the atmosphere. Kila were top notch as usual. The campsite was a long way from the main fields though.
Finnleascach's Well- Uisneach
High on The Hill of Uisneach is Finnleascach's Well- A natural spring said to have been discovered by Fionn Mac Chumhaill- long ago- a natural monument in its own right enclosed by a circular earthen bank- a beautiful place of immense peace and healing
