Hill-Stead Museum
Hill-Stead is the first architectural project of Theodate Pope Riddle (1867-1946), fourth registered female architect in the country, early proponent of historic preservation and caretaker of the family art collection. Designed as a country home for Theodate’s parents, Alfred and Ada Pope, the 33,000 square foot, 1901 Colonial Revival mansion has welcomed over 870,000 visitors since opening to the public. Hill-Stead is considered “perhaps the finest Colonial Revival house and museum in the United States” (National Historic Landmark Report) and houses some of the most important Impressionist paintings in the world, including works by Mary Cassatt, Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, and James McNeill Whistler. A print collection spanning 400 years and including pieces by Albrecht Dürer, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Jean-François Millet and Japanese woodblock artists Hokusai, Hiroshige and Utamaro rounds out the collection. Established in 1946 as a cultural resource for the public in perpetuity, the museum is one of the nation’s few remaining representations of early-20th-century Country Place Estates.

Broken sewer and drain lines can simply materialize in your home or commercial building from unsuitable drain repair and maintenance, which can lead to clogged pipes, sewage odors throughout the home, and irreversible harm to your drain and sewer system.
Chemical Drain & Sewer Line Cleaners Are Usually Not The Most Ideal Resolution!
It may perhaps be the cart long before the horse, so to speak, when homeowners try saving time and money by using cheap liquid-based drain cleansing agents.
Chemical drain cleaners work by chemically eating away the stoppage of hair waste that has been blocking your tub or sink drain for some time now, and you should understand this fact as a preoccupied homeowner.
Frequent use of highly concentrated drain cleaning products can well be the albatross around your plumbing system's proverbial neck, as this further complicates the drain cleaning process by eventually eating into the copper or plastic pipe wall.
Other problems that can come into play after steady use of chemically developed drain cleansers are wrecked sewer lines, eroded copper drain and waste pipes, pitted ABS sewer and bathroom sewer pipes and a host of other plumbing repair work problems.
The best drain cleaning company in Farmington, is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for all your family's worst sewer, drain and clogged toilet nightmares.
The regular care of your plumbing system and sewer main will go a long way toward keeping your home free from toilet clogs, sewer backups, and blocked sink traps, which could be a real pain in the butt if left to chance.
There are two common methods for cleaning a clogged sewage lateral in Farmington CT: hydro-jetting and snaking.
Hire only a drain cleaning professional that employs making use of all previously cited storm sewer jetting and snaking procedures. Your shower drain cleaning will go much easier by educating yourself and your family, prior to the local sewer jetting professional getting to your location.
About Farmington Connecticut:
Farmington is an affluent town in Hartford County in the Farmington Valley area of central Connecticut in the United States. The population was 25,340 at the 2010 census.
We depend on our river to provide clean, safe water for drinking, recreation, and wildlife. Meeting this basic need requires citizen action to complement the work of government agencies. FRWA staff and volunteers collect and record credible water quality data, and work with residents, towns and the state to maintain and improve water quality in our watershed.
FRWA’s Water Quality Monitoring Project was launched in 2004, after the release of the “State of the Watershed” report which analyzed water quality, impediments to flow, and other stressors on the river and its tributaries. The program assesses the health of the Farmington River by:
1) Establishing a baseline of water quality information.
2) Identifying long and short-term changes in water quality and land use.
3) Involving partners and educating residents of the Watershed.

Orrisdale Walk VLOG with Drone Footage - Isle of Man
Orrisdale Walk VLOG with Drone Footage - Isle of Man
We take you on a walk around Orrisdale to the Beach and then fly the drone a little bit, bit of humour mixed in for good measure....we dont take ourselves at all seriously.
Filmed using DJI Phantom 4 Pro and DJI Mavic Pro, iPhone and Drift Ghost 4k, edited in Finalcut and music supplied by Epidemic Sound.
The Isle of Man is located in the middle of the northern Irish Sea, almost equidistant from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland (closest), and Wales (farthest). It is 52 kilometres (32 mi) long and, at its widest point, 22 kilometres (14 mi) wide. It has an area of around 572 square kilometres (221 sq mi). Besides the island of Mann itself, the political unit of the Isle of Man includes some nearby small islands: the seasonally inhabited Calf of Man, Chicken Rock on which stands an unmanned lighthouse, St Patrick's Isle and St Michael's Isle. The last two of these are connected to the main island by permanent roads/causeways.
Ranges of hills in the north and south are separated by a central valley. The northern plain, by contrast, is relatively flat, consisting mainly of deposits from glacial advances from western Scotland during colder times. There are more recently deposited shingle beaches at the northernmost point, the Point of Ayre. The island has one mountain higher than 600 metres (2,000 ft), Snaefell, with a height of 620 metres (2,034 ft). According to an old saying, from the summit one can see six kingdoms: those of Mann, Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, and Heaven. Some versions add a seventh kingdom, that of the sea, or Neptune
