Tanabata is the most famous festival in Japan.It roots from chinese mythology.It is about two lovers named Orihime and Hiroboshi who is separated by the celestial river of the milky way and only allowed to meet once a year when a magical bridge forms on the 7th day of the 7th month.These lovers are known as deities.
Trip to Japan Part 16: Downtown Oiso, Japanese Train Station, and the Kids with the White Hats
Lots of stuff to cover in this video! So we start out in a downtown area of Oiso and make our way to a train station. Sadly, it's a small video recording of it but it's good. While we do that, we run into kids with white hats. Earlier that day, we saw groups of kids in red and blue hats. Schools like to take kids on field trips a lot and so they put them under a color hat so that way people know what school they go to!
