The Hisatsu Orange Railway runs across the west coast of the island of Kyushu, connecting Kagoshima and Kumamoto Prefectures. Television personality Thane Camus takes a ride from Yatsushiro to Sendai Station. Cute Train of Hisatsu Orange Railway Departing at Kagoshima-Chuo Station (29 April 2015)
I found a cute local train departing at Kagoshima-Chuo Station.
The train is called Orange Train.
The train usually commute between Satsumasendai City and Yatsushiro City. You can enjoy slow and relaxing Japanese trip by the train.

Along the route, you can see the beautiful view of ocean and mountains.
You can enjoy the traditional rural atmosphere of Japan as the railway.
Many natural hot springs are located along the route.
The train has original lunch box made of fresh local ingredients along the route! It is nice to have delicious lunch while viewing nice scenery from windows of the train.
There are many historic sites along the line which has preserved carefully until today.
(Slow Trip is Good!)
Recently many people tend to use high speed transportation such as bullet trains and airplanes.
But it is sometimes good to take slow local trains to enjoy relaxing Japanese trip.

色んな所に行ってみたいなという思いを、
駅メモをメモ帳代わりにして叶えていきます。

目的地：八代駅
肥薩おれんじ鉄道にて八代駅を目指します。
晴れていたら海の景色はきっと綺麗なのでしょうが、
今日もあいにくの天気は続きます。
列車の本数が少ないせいなのか、乗客はそれなりに
いるような感じで、寂しい印象はなかったです。
今度は九州新幹線に乗ってみたいですね。

IBUTAMA Express and Orange Train at Kagoshima-Chuo Station (29 April 2015)
I found two unique trains at Kagoshima-Chuo Station, Japan.
Right black and half train is called IBUTAMA.
This is the express train. The train runs between Kagoshima City and Ibusuki City.
Left white and pink train is called Orange Train.
This is the slow local train. It is very convenient to go sightseeing between Satsuma-Sendai Station and Yatsushiro Station.
