225th Anniversary Commemoration of Robert Carter III’s 1791 Deed of Emancipation & The Lives of Those Set Free. At First Baptist Church, Heathsville, August 20, 2016. The event was sponsored by the Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Society, Mary Ball Washington Museum and Library, the Foundation for Historic Christ Church and First Baptist Church, Heathsville, which was also celebrating its 150th anniversary.

Steamboat Era Museum Pilot House
When the Steamboat Era Museum of Irvington, VA, accepted the pilot house of the SS Potomac in 2003 they had no idea what a controversy it might present. Eventually the Town Council of Irvington suggested that it should be removed from those grounds, adjacent to the Museum, and this is a documentary of that removal!

Pappahannock River Waterfowl Show
The annual wildfowl art and carving show put on to benefit the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department. Beautiful work, folks were great (with the exception one who didn't want her booth photographed). And the fried oyster sandwiches were top drawer too.

Deaconess Elizabeth Wise Robinson 2013 Pictorial Memorial
Deaconess Elizabeth Wise Robinson, of Williamsburg, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Her life's journey began August 13, 1925, the daughter of the late Victoria and Ralley Robinson Sr. In her youth, she accepted Christ into her life and joined St John Baptist Church, Toano, VA. Later in life she joined hands in fellowship with Mt Ararat Baptist Church. She was a member and Mother of the Wise Gospel Singers and a member of the V.H. Robinson Mass Choir. She graduated from Cosmetology School and worked in that field for over 50 years. She was the planner and organizer of vacation tours and cruises. Because of her hard work, many have visited most of the United States and been given the opportunity to cruise to islands such as, Jamaica, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Mexico, St Thomas and Grand Cayman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Hugh H. Robinson; daughter, Julia Robinson; brother Ralley B. Robinson, Jr.; parents, Ralley Robinson, Sr. and Victoria Robinson. Her precious memories will be cherished by her children, Annette Floyd (Willie); Barbara Ruttley; Charlie Wise Jr. (Patricia); Pastor Ventson Robinson Sr. (Rosemary); Herman Robinson (Mary); her 20 grandchildren; her 17 great- grandchildren; her sister Lucille Wallace; her Aunt Lura B. Johnson; brother-in-law, June Wise; her adopted daughters; Mrs. Ann Matthews, Mrs. Barbara Randall, and Ms. Vinetta Robinson; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends. A homegoing service will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Mt Ararat Baptist Church, 401 Franklin Street, with Pastor Ventson Robinson and Pastor Morris Randall, officiating. Interment at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
