Fort Steuben Ohio
Fort Steuben, located on South Third Street in downtown Steubenville, Ohio, is a reconstructed 18th century fort on its original location overlooking the Ohio River. Originally built in 1787 to protect the government surveyors of the Seven Ranges of the Northwest Territory from Indians, Fort Steuben housed 150 men of the 1st American Regiment.

Snow Day Drone in Steubenville, Ohio
This is a compilation of drone video that I shot on the morning of Friday, March 10, 2016. We had about 4 inches of snow that accumulated over night, and it coated the trees in a beautiful, full white fluff. This is shot with my DJI Phantom 3 Advanced.
Scenes include Union Cemetery, Big Red Stadium, the Christmas tree at Historic Fort Steuben, the Market Street Bridge, and the City of Steubenville, Ohio.

Steubenville Ohio
Steubenville, Ohio, the county seat of Jefferson County, is located along the Ohio River. The city's name is derived from Fort Steuben, a 1786 fort that sat within the city's current limits and was named for German-Prussian military officer Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben. Today, a replica of the fort is open to the public.

Fort Steuben Intro Video
This is an intro video for a larger project I am working on for Historic Fort Steuben. The visual style is based on the idea of placing a camera inside a historical illustration. I drew the majority of the artwork by hand using a Wacom graphic tablet, though some of the artwork comes from heavily-processed photographs. This artwork was taken into After Effects and used to create a quasi-3D (or 2.5D) environment for the virtual camera to pass through. The sounds are all from an online open-source sound database. The script is a slightly-paraphrased version of the intro to a pamphlet by Dr. John Holmes. The video is narrated by Harry Tracy.

DEAD MALL: Sunrise Center--Zanesville, OH--(SUPER VINTAGE!)
Hello everyone! I know this is outside of the scope of my normal couponing videos, but in addition to couponing I LOVE vintage retail. To me, exploring the history behind a dead/dying mall is fascinating; Exploring these places is like seeing a museum of what once was. It truly is unfortunate to see the malls as they have fallen. However, it is important to see the history of what these malls use to be.
I wanted to film Sunrise Center in Zanesville because I personally have many memories going there. While I never got to see it in its glory days, I came out here numerous times when my mom worked at the healthcare phacality located in the shopping center. I recall MANY times going into IGA and Family Dollar. My grandma also worked in this center for many years. I also felt it was worth mentioning those who still have businesses and the center and what they are bringing to the community.
I hope you all enjoy this video and seeing Sunrise Center.
