It is a historic island near Kazan, and Bonneviasysk Island has many charming cars. It is an island of recreation and an island of sightseeing. There is also a small theme park for travelers. You can experience the battle of the time to feel the courage and strength of the Tatar who fought vigorously against Ivan IV. The violent battle of those who wielded their lives in a wide Russian wilderness is reproduced. The struggle of the war using the power of the whole body indeed! Is not it difficult? It's hard. This is a costume from the East. It's also Kazan's clothes. It is a combat suit called Hantang, but I also wore tattoos on this clothes from China. When Ivan IV came, I fought these armor. Chinese, Tatar, Chinggis Khan, etc .. The combination of the sophisticated armor worn by the high Tatars and the weight of the weapons, such as helmets, swords and shields, is over 40kg. I have also armed myself. Armor and helmets, shields and swords, even equipped to move rather than battle. I have to wear it to live. If you do not want to die, you have to put on it. It seems that the period of the Tatar people,

I went to Kaisan, an island about one and a half hours south of Kazan. Many visitors are looking for a place in the town of Uspenski, a place on the island of Svijashsk. The church is said to be a place to visit even if it is not a Russian Orthodox believer like Myeongdong Cathedral in Korea. It is because of the fortified city of Sviyashsk that it is famous between the Volga and Svija rivers, near Suviyashvsk. The fortress is said to have been built in just four weeks at the time of the occupation of Ivan IV, when the Ivan IV emperor established the throne and ruled the Tsar and extreme terrorism. In order to enter the Church of Svijašsk, your body and mind must be clear and tidy. You do not have to wear a towel on your head and wear shorts. So they're dressed. Women can only go in a scarf to wear a veil that covers their head and chest. The Church of Svijašsk is a unique structure that retains the style of the time when the Orthodox Church of Greece was spread to Russia. This church shows the early days of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Russian Orthodox Church is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in the world, with about 50 million Russian Orthodox believers currently in Russia. I prayed for the health of my family and the future of my children. I wish everyone was healthy.

The Island of Sviyazhsk and Ivan the Terrible
In Russia, few places of the small size of the Island of Sviyazhsk have played such important role. Listen and discover what it was

Historic city hopes to be included in list of World Heritage
(4 Jul 2019) LEAD IN:
Russia's northwestern city of Pskov is hopeful of inclusion in the upcoming list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The historic city centre has a number of late medieval monasteries, churches and citadels included in its application.
STORY-LINE:
Pskov's skyline is peppered with onion dome spires of the Eastern Orthodox style.
Most of the historic buildings of Pskov survived the Russian revolution when many traditional churches across Russia were destroyed by the Soviets.
Here the city's kremlin is no longer the seat of power, but a medieval citadel dating from the late 15th century.
At its centre is Trinty Cathedral with is golden dome rising into the sky.
Now Pskov hopes UNESCO will acknowledge its unique architecture by including the historic centre on the latest list of World Heritage.
Pskov used to have its own school (meaning style) of architecture and art. It developed gradually. We included buildings of various periods of this development in our (UNESCO) nomination dossier explains local historian Taisiya Kruglova.
The Pskov Kremlin (citadel), the Pokrov and Gremyachaya Towers, the Pogankin and Decrees Chambers of the Pskov Kremlin and the Mirozhsky Monastery are all mentioned on the nomination dossier.
Many of the 18 monuments date back from the 14th to the early 15th century and fall into three categories : fortress architecture, houses of worship and civil architecture.
Pskov was lucky because very few buildings were destroyed after the revolution (of 1917). During Soviet times only a couple of churches were gone, a few were destroyed during the war, but most of the churches that are gone were built in 18th century. All the ancient buildings survived says Kruglova.
Pskov's architectural traditions began with the building of the Cathedral of Christ's Transfiguration in the 12th century within the Mirozhsky monastery says Kruglova.
While developing their architectural tradition Pskov residents used this cathedral as the origin. They began their journey in time starting from this cathedral.
The interior of the cathedral is decorated with rare frescoes dating from the 12th to 14th centuries.
About 87% of the original frescoes from that time were preserved. This cathedral is the only one in in the Russian Federation that has that amount of preserved frescoes dating back to the second quarter of the 12th century explains Kruglova.
However not everyone supports the nomination.
Hieromonch Seraphim Kozulin, the abbot of Mirozhsky Monastery and head of antiquities at Pskov diocese, feels that the dossier should not have been submitted until more restoration work had taken place.
In my opinion, as head of antiquities, and I have talked to specialists, we decided that we need more time to restore the churches so that we don't feel ashamed for them in front of the international community.
He says the biggest threat to Pskov's historic churches is the region's weather:
The biggest problem is temperature and humidity conditions inside churches as the Pskov region has a very humid climate.
Of course this place is unique. It's an open-air museum that requires more careful attention from government authorities and the people, Russian people, because it's our historic, cultural and spiritual heritage he adds.
The application of Pskov was reviewed, and the nomination supported by the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinskiy.

Tatarstan: Great Bolgar
The ancient monument of Muslim culture in Tatarstan is located 180 km from Kazan on the Volga river steep bank. In the 10th century the Volga Bulgars adopted Islam here, and the city of Bolgar became the capital of the Volga Bulgaria.
Since 2014 the ancient city of Great Bolgar has been included into UNESCO World Heritage List. The architecture monuments of the 13-14th centuries are carefully preserved here. In the museums one can learn the history of the ancestors of modern Kazan Tatars and see the world largest printed Quran, entered into the Guinness Book of Records. The main attractive landmark of the museum-preserve is the majestic White Mosque.

The Largest Chain of Bookstores in St Petersburg, Russia
Saint Petersburg is the most paper book reading city of Russia, according to the amount of bookstores per capita. No wonder though. Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Gogol, Dovlatov and Brodsky is just a short-list of world-famous writers who lived in St Petersburg.
The largest chain of bookstores in St. Petersburg, called Bukvoed what literally means Letter Eater. 143 bookstores in the city and Leningrad region.
In the historical city center they seem like everywhere. I came to one of them located right in front of the Guest Yard (Gostiny Dvor) at Nevsky Prospect.
