Find beautiful Hitoyoshi
Hitoyoshi is located in the center of Kyushu Island, south part of Japan. Find great nature, old shrines and temples. Outdoor activities such as boat trips, rafting, mountain climbing, trekking, hiking, paragliding, bungee jumping and camping are also good. You can make Japanese knives, pottery, and woodworking as special experience.
Do you want to be a historical samurai? We are preparing samurai armor. You can wear it and take pictures.
Hot springs are one of the pleasures here. Not only onsen ryokan(Japanese inn with hot sriping) but also all public baths in Hitoyoshi are hot springs, so you can visit the hot springs cheaply and expect good conversation with local people.
If you want to take special dishes, please go to town. You can find many good restaurants even close by your hotels.Traditional Japanese dishes such as river fish menus, soba and ramen noodles, sushi, teppan yaki, will inspire your appetite.
People in here much respect nature also spirits, and live with them.
Enjoy real beautiful Japan in Hitoyoshi!

Shiro Tour 白馬ツアー #Japan #Spirits #焼酎
This was a dream come true. I found this place through the Tourist Bureau of Hitoyoshi. I was taken there for a tour. I first discovered Shiro on the Jet Program, it was an instant love affair of mine. I have enjoyed this drink for over 13 years. I enjoy it and having the chance to see how it is made in the factory and view the history of the brand. It is a beauitfully designed building and the staff is mega friendly, and the tasting room is free. Keyword is free. The Merchandise is amazing. I found out that the Kumamoto Russo has a sponsorship with the company. I feel in love all over again. This has been a special part of trip series. Please watch more on my other channel:

Tourism President Interview 観光大統領人吉 #人吉 #観光 #Japan
This was a wonderful miracle of a Interview! I met with Mr Junhi Takamatsu, president of the Hitoyoshi Tourism Bureau Organization. He is a very warm personality that is a visionary and relaxed. His plan for the town and understanding of love for your home town is wonderful. It was interesting to hear the conversation explaining the best seasons to visit Hitoyoshi and things to experience while there. I did my best to compare and contrast San Antonio and San Marcos in Texas. I wanted to make recommendations for Japanese people to visit my hometown more often than for business.
For myself this was opportunity to learn, teach, and share about different opportunities for people who want to work and live in Japan to find reasons to make Hitoyoshi their destination for a long term investment and employment. Mr. Takamatsu began to explain his Second Life Campaign and what it means to the future of bringing new residents to Hitoyoshi. I am excited for his plan.
I was assisted in translation by Mr Satoshi Kubo of the Hitoyoshi City Hall. This video is the first in a series of Interviews and adventures I have had this summer.

Kanchanaburi city, Bridge on the River Kwai, Death Railway, JEATH
The internationally famous, black iron bridge was brought from Java by the Japanese supervision by Allied prisoner-of-war labour as part of the Death Railway linking Thailand with Burma. Still in use today, the bridge was the target of frequent Allied bombing raids during World War II and was rebuild after war ended. The curved spans of the bridge are the original sections.

Travel Log: Got lost in Singapore on my birthday!
Found my way around a slightly unfamiliar city. Rode a rollercoaster for the first time in my life and I swear I'm not going to do it again... EVER! Got lost in the Gardens by the Bay. Watched the BlackPink concert from the other side of the river lol. Had a proper brunch with colleagues and dinner with friends turned family. I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you to everyone who went out of their way to spend time with me and catch up! You guys are so awesome.

Day Out in Kumamoto, Japan.
Hey guys! This is my first mini travel vlog in Kumamoto, Japan. Kumamoto is definitely an amazing place filled with astounding sceneries and not to mention that they have amazing food too. It's a lil sad to see that some parts of the prefecture still suffer from the series earthquakes in April. I sincerely apologize for the shakiness of the video, will try to hold my camera still in future videos. Hope you will enjoy the video!
If you enjoyed the video, please give it a thumbs up!

CHERRY BLOSSOMS IN FULL BLOOM 2019 & MINI-TRAIN RIDE | Travel with Kids in Japan
Check out CHERRY BLOSSOMS IN FULL BLOOM 2019 & MINI-TRAIN RIDE, travel with Kids in Japan.
Erica had fun at Matsuda Sakura Festival held at Nishihirabatake Park. She had the chance to ride on a mini-train while viewing cherry blossoms. She enjoyed the Hina-dolls displayed for the Doll Festival on that day March 3rd. The foods at the festival were so delicious such as newly harvested oranges and roasted sweet potatoes, Cherry blossoms ice cream, and curry bread. She also watched people hang gliding in the sky on that fine day. She was sad that Mt. Fuji hid behind the clouds.
