P O J M O V N I K (za gledaoce sa prevodom na srpski)
PREFEKTURA: Teritorijalno, Japan se sastoji od 47 prefektura. Prefektura Yamaguchi nalazi se u najzapadnijem delu ostrva Honshu, površine 6.113 kv. km, sa 1.382 hiljade stanovnika. Grad Hofu je jedan od 13 jedinica lokalne samouprave sa gradskim statusom u prefekturi (površina: 189 kv. km, stanovnika: 115 hiljada).
STANICA GRADA (Machi-no-eki): Javni punkt koji može da ima prodavnicu lokalnih specijaliteta, restoran, turističke informacije i dr. Na inicijativu koordinacionog tela neprofitnih organizacija, osnivački akt je donet 1999. god. radi promovisanja regionalne ekonomije i podsticanja kretanja stanovništva.
SUGLASNICI B I V: U japanskom jeziku, pogotovu u tradicionalnom leksikonu, ne postoji suglasnik V, a najsličnija mu je zamena suglasnik B. Mnogi Japanci koji se ne snalaze najbolje sa evropskim jezicima, izgovarali bi Berona za italijanski grad Veronu, Beetooben za nemačkog kompozitora Betovena (DE: Beethoven). Ne bi stoga bili sigurni da li je vaša prijateljica Vesna ili besna, niti bi razlikovali naziv reke Save od Sabe, itd. Par puta smo dobijali poštansku pošiljku iz Japana na kojoj piše SERVIA.
ŠINTOIZAM (šinto-religija): O detaljima vidi npr. odgovarajuću odrednicu Vikipedije (SR).
ŠKOLSKI SISTEM I SPORT U ŠKOLAMA: U Japanu OŠ ima 6 razreda, niža srednja škola i viša srednja škola (SŠ) po 3. Sistem odgajanja i selekcije mladih sportista po kategorijama u sportskim klubovima, po uzoru na evropsku praksu, u Japanu je vrlo slab i jedva se primio u gimnastici i fudbalu. Umesto toga, mladi sportski talenti tradicionalno stasavaju u odgovarajućim sportskim sekcijama u SŠ. U odbojci je Prolećno prvenstvo SŠ (u januaru) mnogo popularnije zbog TV prenosa na nacionalnom nivou u odnosu na Japansko prvenstvo SŠ (u avgustu). Nakon pobede u kvalifikacijama na nivou pref. Yamaguchi, obe privatne škole iz Hofua, SŠ Seiei (Ž) i SŠ Takagawa Gakuen (M) igrale su u 2018. u pomenutom januarskom turniru, i stigle su do polufinala.

Mazda Factory and Museum... and Testicles
Our class visited the Mazda factory near Hiroshima, Japan. The size and scope of the site was very impressive, but obviously there were heavy restrictions on when we were allowed to take photos and video. These clips are from the travel to the factory (during which Wilson sensei discusses his dinner last night) and segments from the museum where cameras are allowed. I mostly wanted to capture the famous 787B race car from Le Mans, as well as the rotary engine itself.
Shinjuku, Tokyo - Kabukicho, Ichiran Ramen, Golden Gai | Japan travel guide (vlog 4)
Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan! Shinjuku is one of the most unique districts in Tokyo. It's where you find Kabukicho (the famous red-light district), Godzilla head, Omoide Yokocho (Piss Alley), Golden Gai and, why not? Ichiran Ramen. This is not an attraction per se, but Ichiran Ramen restaurant is also considered by many a must-visit in Tokyo, whether you do it in Shinjuku or another district. Japan ramen is really delicious! If you're in Japan for the Rugby World Cup 2019, make sure you visit Shinjuku.
We start by visiting the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building. Totally free and really nice view! From there we pass in front of Shinjuku station, the busiest transport hub in the world, and keep walking to Omoide Yokocho or Piss Alley (the famed drinking street). We then cross Kabukicho, the well-known red-light district in Tokyo, see the Godzilla head come alive, walk through Golden Gai alleyways and finally end up at Ichiran Ramen for an enormous and fantastic bowl of ramen.

Mazda used this mailer to introduce it's new CX-5 vehicle in Canada. This very simple, yet very effective design starts out as a seemingly typical flat-printed mailer, but when you open it up, the mailer expands and at the center there is an image of the new vehicle. Mazda also used this mailer to get consumers to visit them on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
