A peacuful onsen tucked high amongst the mountain peaks of Mount Tokachidake. We were visited by 3 foxes while bathing in the warm water piped directly from the natural mountainous hotsprings.
If you're in Furano, or central Hokkaido, this onsen is definitely worth a visit along with others int he area.
In Furano Village, the New Prince Furano onsen is a bit pricier, but definitely worth a visit after a hard day boarding or skiing. They have an indoor and outdoor onsen along with an impressive sauna.
