With even more snow on Day 3 we get the most out of the slopes, spending every waking minute on the mountain. You could not ask for a more perfect day on the snow with your best mates, this was pure magic and we loved every second of it…
Be part of our last moments shredding the slopes in Niseko, Japan, as we end the trip with some amazing runs, some scary close calls and epic stacks.
We say goodbye to Japan for now, however we will definitely be heading back to in the near future to experience some more of the best snow in the world!

Hakuba Japan Vlog 2016 | Snowmobiles & Snowboarding
After a few nights in Tokyo we took a train to the Japanese Alps and headed straight to our snowmobiling tour with Hakuba Lion Adventure. This was followed by a couple of days snowboarding at Happo One and Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resorts.
Accommodation:
Despite being a bit far from town, Sierra Resort is amazing. The staff are helpful and the rooms are very spacious. Not to mention, they even have public and private onsens! There is also a free shuttle bus that takes you around so make sure you check the timetable to avoid paying ridiculous amounts for a taxi. After a long day of hitting the slopes, you can then head back and there will be food outside the foyer such as soup or curry, free of charge. They also have complimentary wine in the lounge so why not sit around, relax and enjoy the views. The service was outstanding and we will definitely be back.

Backcountry skiing down Mt. Mitsuishi to the shelter hut (2014/4/12)
Starting from Amihari Ski Resort which had closed two week earlier, I hiked up to the top of the ski slopes then travesed Mt. Ohmatsukura along its windy ridge, then down to the shelter hut shown at the end of this clip. This took about 3 hours and 15min. Then from the hut to the summit of Mt Mitsuishi took me about 40min (others will probably do it a bit quicker), spent 20 min munching snacks at the summit till the wind calmed down, then I came back down to the hut. I took too conservative a line as I wanted to avoid the cornice that was developing and ready to break a bit below the summit, but in the end I veered too much to the north. After the two skiers left the hut, I had this lovely hut all to myself, and spent a good 45min sipping a cup of coffee, enjoying the view. A divine moment.
