After a lot of prayer and discernment, I was inspired to go for a silent retreat. The place was providentially arranged through my Salesian friends. Before I could know, I was doing my silent retreat in Yercaud.
It was a great experience - Very Unique in comparison with the normal format of retreats. I read 3 books, spend time before the tabernacle, said may rosaries during my walk time.
I thank the Salesian community in Yercaud for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

Yercaud lake
Yercaud is a hill station in Salem district of Tamilnadu. About three hours drive from Chennai it is located in the Shevaroys range of hills in the Eastern Ghats. Situated at altitude of 4970 ft above sea level, there is abundance forest and scenic beauty all around. But the best part is the Lake or the forest lake popularly known as jewel of south. This video takes you through a boat ride with a family on this lake.
