Bigfoot in Indiana?
I found these prints in the backyard on Christmas Day, 2017. I also took photographs. By comparing my 12 inch foot to the prints, they appear to be 13-14 inches long. I estimated stride length, again using my own feet, toe to heel, to be exactly 6 feet. I am interested in getting public opinion on what these prints could be. I live in northern Indiana, and they certainly aren't squirrel, raccoon, rabbit, coyote, or deer. Six foot stride seems to rule out a human being and basically any other animal I am aware of. I am not willing to immediately jump to this being Bigfoot, and am open to all ideas!
Bigfoot follows me. Stops when I stop. Watch 4:10-4:20 mark. Location Indiana.
Bigfoot follows me and stops when I stop. Interdimsional Bigfoot? Filmed with S4 clipped to my belt pointing behind me. At the 4:45 mark you will hear me pull my Glock 17 Gen 5 out and chamber a round. Didnt see anything, but could sense all kinds of things watching me.. Watch from 4:10 to 4:20 mark!.. Location Indiana.

Huge Wild cat in Indiana
The Hoosier state has never been known for its bobcat population. However in recent years more and more sightings and accidental trappings are happening every year. Still however very little video footage of a clear image of a bobcat exists. Here Maj. Dan Bell and passenger Donnie Mullis record a bobcat taking a stroll down the middle of a road inside Camp Atterbury.
Bobcats were once found in abundance prior to the settlement of our great state. According to Marion T. Jackson's The Natural Heritage of Indiana, bobcats have roamed our lands for more than 125,000 years. However, man soon became the bobcat's worst enemy. The habitats bobcats needed to survive were lost due to forest clearing for land development and agricultural use. More were lost as traders eagerly trapped bobcats for their valuable fur. They were also hunted regularly by farmers who feared for their livestock. Unbeknown to the early settlers, bobcats are, in fact, a beneficial predator as they prey on rats and other small rodents. By the time the Endangered Species Act passed, the bobcat population had declined so considerably that it was included in Indiana's original endangered species list.
Indiana's Division of Fish & Wildlife began a population study of the bobcat in December 1998. Their Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program were asked to determine the abundance and distribution of bobcats in the state. By tracking, trapping and the fitting bobcats with radio collars, the agency was able gather information that would be used to create future management guidelines. With the help from hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and other concerned Hoosiers, the Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program was able to provide more habitats for bobcats to live and flourish. In 2002, bobcats were taken off Indiana's endangered species list and reclassified as protected as non-game species. Under this standing, bobcat populations have reached more stable numbers, but can not be hunted or trapped.
Greg Yost Bigfoot Eyewitness Encounter Southern Indiana Ferdinand State Park
Greg Yost is from Louisville Kentucky and now resides in Jeffersonville Indiana, right across the Ohio river. Greg spent 10 years in the United States Navy. He has a son Eugene who is his best friend and Squatch partner , aka ...son of SQUATCHMAN. Greg has been blessed to see 14 & counting Sasquatch and a lot of near misses , like seconds , they’re fast! During his first encounter, a Sasquatch came down hill on him and his dog, Buddy while sitting at a campfire in an empty state forest in southern Indiana in November of 98 or 99. He describes the Sasquatch as sounding like a train coming down that hill .He was frozen simply not believing what was happening Immediately, the creature stopped behind tree and Greg could hear him breathing very loudly like grunting almost . His dog and a lost hunting dog sat 10 feet from tree staring up at it like it almost as if there was a spell on them. Buddy wouldn't come to his commands. Out of panic, Greg drew his 45 on the creature warning him to stay there and slowly got Buddy with his left arm and backed away to put him in car. He drove off 60 feet and realized he had forgotten all his gear. He went back and hit the brights and saw a big hairy hand on tree. While gathering his gear he kept his 45 aimed at the tree. When he left the other dog was still looking up at the creature. Greg Yost been Squatching every since to find the truth on this phenomenon some call Bigfoot!
Greg Yost told me about this park, i went...it blew my mind!
Ferdinand State Forest
In 1933, a local conservation club raised funds to buy 900 acres to build a lake and establish an area to hunt and fish. They offered management of the project to the Indiana Department of Conservation the following year, and this marked the establishment of Ferdinand State Forest.
Established in 1934 as a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp, CCC workers built roads, service buildings, and one of the most beautiful forest lakes in the state. Ferdinand State Forest is well known for its excellent deer and squirrel hunting. The area surrounding Ferdinand is rich in German heritage, including St. Meinrad Archabbey, the Monastary Immaculate Conception and many other local landmarks and seasonal community festivals.
Indiana Bigfoot Reenactment
After watching the documentary Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science a year prior, Chuck began researching an area near the Hoosier National Forest. The probability of an encounter does increase if you frequent area of known Sasquatch sightings. This was an emotional experience for Chuck and after great consideration he agreed to document his encounter. During the investigation the Bigfoot was determined to be about 6-7 foot in height with very broad shoulders. Behind the tree is a steep embankment so it may have been a little further away from the tree or perhaps it was slightly crouching behind the tree? The sighting place in 2006 a little after midnight.
