Canoeing at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort | Walt Disney World Vlog | October 2017 | Adam Hattan
Claire, Craig, Curtis, JP and I take a terrifying sail down the fort wilderness rivers in canoes!

Claire's Channel:
This vlog involves a lot of scares, screams and frights. We are coming up to halloween after all. If you're looking to see a grown man scream and get scared of a pathetically terrifying experience, this is the vlog for you. I'm pleased to say we made it out without an accident at Disney on the water.
After failing to make it canoeing last week we venture back to Fort Wilderness in an effort to do it today! We start out by getting some food at the Wilderness Lodge quick service, The Roaring Fork. I had some chicken nuggets and tater tots (ew) before we made our way to the dock to take the boat over to Fort Wilderness resort of cabins and campground. You may remember Fort Wilderness from our staycation there during the eclipse.
Once at Fort Wilderness we take the bus down to the middle of the resort to where the activities are hosted. There you'll find tennis courts, the swimming poo, the camp fire/movie screen and the rental shop for boats, bikes and fishing rods.
We get caught in a florida storm at Walt Disney World on the way. Luckily our canoeing plans aren't dashed and we take one two person and one three person canoe out onto the water. On many occasions we saw what may or may not have been a gator, Craig rocked the boat a few too many times and I can safely say I did not find the experience relaxing. It was rather scary and I personally wouldn't recommend it if you're a sensitive soul like I am. I wouldn't say it's one of the worst things in Walt Disney World, since it was still fun and memorable, it's just not something I'd do again for my own fright of the dark water and critters about the water.
After surviving canoeing we shop in the meadow trading post merchandise store and grab a few slushies before making our way to Epcot for the evening. There we enjoy some of the Food and Wine festivities and get caught up in many funny moments. Please excuse the amount of silliness that comes from us as a group. We're joined by Robert when we visit the Canada and Ireland market stalls. We also pop into the former Wonders of Life pavilion (currently the festival centre) to get some chocolate for Ghiradelli's.
If you're looking for a funny walt disney world vlog, I sure hope you've found it.
Throughout the vlog I'll be sharing some of my Walt Disney World vacation tips and little known facts of the Walt Disney World resort.

Visiting King's Landing was like travelling back in time. We got to see the interior of old homes, churches, and barns from the 1800s, and for those looking to get their hands dirty, there was the option of pitching in with some of the farm work. The garrison district is the historic and cultural heart of Fredericton. This is where you can catch free performances, join heritage walking tours, and watch the changing of the guard. The Lighthouse on the Green stands on the banks of the St. John River. Though it once helped guide fishermen to shore, today the lighthouse is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy some seafood or even cool down with an ice cream. The nice thing about Fredericton is that you're never too far from nature. The city has many walking trails and biking paths that are easily accessible, and that means people spend a lot of time outdoors.
This former railway bridge is now popular with pedestrians. It has great views of the St. John River and the 2 university campuses that sit up on the hill. Waterloo Row is one of the prettiest streets in the city. It is lined with historic homes and mansions that look over the river. If you happen to be in town over the weekend, be sure to check out the Farmers' Market for some delicious eats!
The Nashwaak Trail is part of an extensive trail system and it's great for either walking or biking. We managed to spot quite a bit of wildlife during our outing, including a Great Blue Heron, a beaver, and lots of chipmunks. Gallery 78 is the oldest private art gallery in New Brunswick and it hosts exhibitions throughout the year. Christ Church Cathedral has a very active music schedule. During the summer months they host choirs and recitals. Admission is by donation with the proceeds going back into the community. The Legislative Building is the home to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. Guided visits must be arranged in advance. For art lovers, there's the option of visiting the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. This gallery features the work of both Canadian and international artists. Odell Park is a massive park located in the middle of Fredericton. It has many trails that run through the forest and some of the trees there are believed to be over 400 years old. It's a nice green escape and the perfect place to exercise in the summer. The changing of the guard is a ceremony not to be missed. You can watch guards re-enact a drill ceremony to the beat of a piper and drummer. For a spooky look at the city's past, you can join a haunted hike that takes you on a walking tour of Fredericton after dark. The university of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University have a shared campus with beautiful grounds. Even if you're not a student, the campus is worth a visit. If you're looking to catch a performance, then head down to the Playhouse. They host all sorts of music, dance, and theatre productions. And that's a little glimpse of Fredericton. We really enjoyed our summer visit to the city, and we hope you'll have the chance to check it out too!

Port Gamble, WA - Adventures in RV Living
Welcome back, Today on 3tailsRV we take you on another RV adventure. So come along as we explore the Port Gamble on the Kitsap peninsula of Western Washington.
Port Gamble was once a bustling logging town that hasn’t changed much since the 1850s. Today Port Gamble is a popular tourist destination, and is filled with unique textile shops, books and antique stores, tea-rooms, cafes, and even a historic theater. Many of the shops are located in the original New England Victorian-style homes that have been restored and preserved. The centerpiece is the Port Gamble General Store & Cafe. Housed in the same historic location as it has been since the time of serving the active mill until 1995, it currently offers a stop for delicious meals, delightful gifts and makes this a must stop destination.
Port Gamble is a National Historic site and prior to its closure in 1995, was the oldest continuously operating sawmill in North America. Take time during your visit to stop by the museum and learn about the history behind this quaint waterside town.
Port Gamble is a great place to start or stop an outdoor recreation adventure on the Kitsap Peninsula. Olympic Outdoor Center offers kayak, bike rental and offers a boat launch at the location of the old mill site.
