Horaiji Temple is situated on Mount Horai in Shinshiro city (Aichi prefecture, Japan). This buddhist temple was founded in 703. On its premises there is also one of the three most beautiful Toshogu Shrines of Japan (built in 1652 by Tokugawa Iemitsu). Wild nature surrounds the temple and shrine buildings. It is a beautiful and solemn place. The shakuhachi music is played by Taro Matsumoto.

Horai Temple Nio Gate, Shinshiro, Japan 24/Nov/2013 鳳来寺仁王門Puerta Nio del Templo Horai
Nio gate is the gate where two guardians of the Buddha are standing, which are frightening wrestler-like statues. Built in 1641 and repaired in 1987. This is registered as one of Japan's Important Cultural Properties.
１６４１年建立、１９８７年修復の重要文化財です。
Puerta de Nio es una puerta donde dos guardias de Budda están de pie, que son estatuas de dos luchadores agresivos con muchos musculos. Construido en el año 1641 y reparado en 1987. Esta puerta está registrada como uno de las Propiedades Culturales Importantes del Japón.
