【山形の伝統行事】山形豊烈打毬

【山形豊烈打毬とは？】
毎年10月6日、山形市内の豊烈神社例大祭で行われる古式打毬。豊烈神社に伝わる古式打毬は、宮内庁、八戸の打毬とともに、日本に残る3つの打毬の1つで、例大祭で奉納されています。その形式方法は現在宮内庁に伝わる物と同一で、県無形文化財に指定されています。

この動画は、提出された15本の中から、［打毬保存会 最優秀賞］に輝いた作品です。

Yamagata Horetsu Dakyu (Japanese polo) is one of ancient Dakyu held in Yamagata City. It is one of Japan’s three Dakyu together along with the Dakyu of the Imperial Household Agency and Hachinohe.

This video was made by the students of Tohoku University of Art and Design for their class assignment and got the grand prize from Yamagata Horetsu Dakyu Preservation Society.
