Kuching Is So Much Fun At Night! | Atyn Mudzakar
Didn't get enough of Kuching yet, so I went out again on another night and captured this moments.
After visiting The Cat Statue, I went inside the mall nearby. It was boring. I was thinking to go back to my AirBnB that night cus I taught there's nothing much.
But I forced myself to walk around a bit. And it turns out wonderful. There's so many beautiful and colorful places for me to take pictures. The Kuching's Sign, The Music Mural, The Hornbill Fountain, Kuching Waterfront etc. There's also a Food Festival going on at that time. What a blessed night.

Built as a pedestrian bridge connecting North and South Kuching Kuching, the designs obtained in a competition, have a tradition and modern elements, including two pillars with hornbills.

Kuching Waterfront
I took a slow stroll around my hostel on my first day to this largest city in Sarawak. Few minutes walk from Hornbill's nest, were few more hostels, restaurants, gold shops, museums and shopping mall. One of the museum I went in restrict the use of cameras.
The DUN government building is one of the popular places of attraction in Kuching, Malaysia. Also considered as most beautiful building in South East Asia. The complex has a modern design (Royal umbrella) and the Darul Hana Bridge links Kuching Waterfront to the north side of the Sarawak River making it more easier to make a visit to Astana Building or Orchid garden.
If you love to shot that memory in the bridge, come during the sunset or evening when all the lights are up to capture that amazing photo.

Sarawak More To Discover Launch
The Sarawak More To Discover campaign launch was held on the 16th October 2018 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. This event saw the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, industry tourism players and media being invited for the campaign launch.
The CEO of Sarawak Tourism and Minister of Tourism Sarawak made the official speeches and officiated the logo and campaign launch today.
This will see the Sarawak More To Discover campaign run from 2019 to 2020 with special focus on culture, adventure, nature, food and festivals of Sarawak throughout the two years.

Waterfront kuching sarawak | amazing view
The Darul Hana Bridge in Kuching, Sarawak, is intended to complement the new State Legislative Assembly Complex (DUN) to form a dynamic urbanscape—set against elegant parks and water features—that will be intrinsically linked to the identity of the city.
At night time is the best time to visit this bridge. The beautiful lighting will amaze you for sure. It's also an amazing spot for photography starts from sunset view until its colorful night lights. At night also you could see Kuching City riverfront along way ahead. Also a great spot to view and listen the newly build musical fountain. Great place to hangout with family and friends.
Darul Hana Musical Fountain offers two shows from Mondays to Thursdays at 8.30pm-8.45pm and 9.30pm-9.45pm, with three shows from Fridays to Sundays at 8.30pm-8.45pm, 9.30pm-9.45pm and 10.30pm-10.45pm.

Located near the city centre, most tourists will visit this attraction. We came in the daytime and night time respectively. I would say the hub of activities become alive and vibrant during the night.
Probably, the heat has gone down. The heat is oppressive during the day in Kuching.
There are many buskers around. Souvenir and food pop-up stalls are abundant. There is also a musical fountain display of lights near the Golden Anniversary Bridge. You can also use this bridge to cross to the other side. During sunset time around 6.30pm to 7pm, the bridge also serves as a nice object for avid photographers.
There is also a RM1 one way sampan to take you across the river. Interesting less than 10 minutes ride. However, it is motorized. The 90 minutes river cruise also commence from here.
Big hotels like Hilton and River Majestic are within walking distance. Merderka Plaza, the shopping mall is also a few minutes walk away. A little further away along Carpenter Street and Upper China Street, you can find some very good small restaurants like Peridot, Indah House, Lima-tujoh and many others.
The historical and majestic Old Courthouse building is just across from the Waterfront.

Darul Hana Bridge Kuching Sarawak
Opened in late 2017 to link the northern and southern parts of Kuching, the city's spectacular new pedestrian bridge (335m) is constructed to resemble the letter 'S' (for Sarawak), and the two towers are designed to look like the hornbill-inspired structures of traditional Bidayuh bamboo bridges. Two spacious viewing decks provide the best locations for taking in sprawling riverfront views.
From the northern end of the bridge a new riverfront esplanade continues east past the Sarawak State Assembly to provide pedestrian access to Fort Margherita and its Brooke Gallery.
