Horseshoe Bend, near Page, Arizona, United States.
I arrived at Horseshoe bend after two days looking at the Grand Canyon...and it was still amazing. A free to enter location just outside Page, Arizona, it really is worth a detour.
**I have left the long walk to the canyon edge off this video but it is a good 30 minutes trek across sand in extreme heat so please be careful and take water. And it goes without saying, take care around the edge as there are NO safety barriers. People die here.

Join me in exploring Horseshoe Bend, a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, United States.
We joined a bus tour which originated at Las Vegas. Our main tour was on Antelope Canyon. Horseshoe Bend was a stop. The walk from the parking lot to the view point was around 20 minutes. Going back took me 30 minutes since it was more uphill. Put this times into consideration if you are travelling on a scheduled bus tour.
The view was awesome!!!

HORSESHOE BEND - 2019
Hey Friends,
Today we are going to visit Horseshoe Bend & Lower Antelope Canyon.
Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, United States.
Antelope Canyon was formed by erosion of Navajo Sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and secondarily due to other sub-aerial processes.
Both the places are a photographer's and traveller's dreamland.
You need to visit the Antelope Canyon by a guided tour only.
