Bradford Park Avenue v Pakistan International XI - July 2013
Highlights from the recent pre-season charity game between Blue Square Bet North side Bradford Park Avenue and a Pakistan International XI at Horsfall Stadium on Sunday 7th july 2013. The game was played in aid of the White Ribbon Campaign, an international charity encouraging men to take a stand up and speak out about violence against women. The Pakistan International XI side is made up of professional and semi-pro players of Pakistani origin from UK and Europe. The side was captained by Adnan Ahmed, one of six players in the team who have senior caps with the Pakistan national team. The game finished 5-3 in favour of the home side, who have been strengthening their squad ahead of the new season to mount a serious promotion challenge after coming so close last season.

SALFORD CITY goalkeeper Max Crocombe was shown a red card for URINATING during the 2-1 win against Bradford Park Avenue.The bizarre incident happened in the closing stages of a Vanarama National League North clash at Horsfall Stadium, putting a dampener on the Class of 92's side's victory.There was confusion over why the shot-stopper was given his marching orders by the referee, with both clubs taking to Twitter.Bradford Park tweeted: 86' - RED CARD! This is bizarre. Salford goalkeeper Max Crocombe has been dismissed and no one knows why.While Salford said: 88: Red Card! Crocombe see red for something off the ball. No one has a clue what has happened.1-2.
