지역유지들의 개인 별장으로 시작된 유후인 온천장들은 전원 속의 휴양지로 이름 높다. 휴일이면 많은 이용객들로 북적인다. 그래서 유후인의 거리 풍경 또한 조금씩 변하고 있다. 고급 장식품 가게처럼 보이는 이곳 모든 물건이 단돈 천엔이라고 한다. 사람들이 있는 곳에 돈이 모인다는 말이 실감이 난다. “유후인은 꽤 고급스런 마을인데요.” “저희 가게는 (유후인의) 숨은 인기 점포로 좋은 물건을 값싸게 팔고 있습니다.” 해발 1500미터의 유후다케의 구름이 봄비를 불러들인다. 갑작스레 내린 봄비에 인적마저 뜸해져 빗소리가 유난히 맑다. 구경꾼이 줄어들어 거위도 흥이 안 나는지 괜스레 나에게 장난을 걸어온다.

World's ONLY Hello Kitty Wooden Igloo Hotel in Japan
This Hello Kitty Hotel in Japan is nearby Naruto Theme Park in Nijigen No Mori on Awajishima Island in the Kansai Area. Those visiting the Naruto & Boruto Theme Park or Shin Chan Theme Park may want to consider staying in the World's only Hello Kitty wooden Igloo hotel room. In fact, I went to the Naruto Theme Park just before staying at the Hello Kitty theme hotel. The Hello Kitty Room is one of a kind and is part of the Grand Chariot Hotel in Nijigen No Mori Park. We stayed at Ryokan Yawaragino Sato Yadoya, Yufuin(由布院、湯布院).
They provide 3 private baths for guests(reservation needed), and this is the view of Yawaragino Yu(やわらぎの湯）- which i think of the best of three.

Shoya no Yakata Cottages Yufu
Shoya no Yakata is located at Yufin, Oita prefecture on the island of Kyushu. Halfway down the hill, House of Yufuin headman 5,000 square meters is a vast site was moved on the main reception hall of the powerful families of the Meiji era. A quaint building has two floors of the release ceremony.
All rooms are Japanese room, equipped bbath and toilet, air conditioning, hair dryer, television. Some of rooms have open-air bath is equipped.

JAPAN BY TRAIN: Sendai (Miyagi) - Aomori - Hakodate, feat. Akebono. [HD] (31/Dec/2013)
Video footage from my train trip between Sendai (Miyagi prefecture) and Hakodate (in Hokkaido) via Aomori, in Japan, on the 31st of December, 2013 (New Year's Eve!). I have included some takes of Aomori and Hakodate, including the Hakodate cable and the Hakodate mount.
Trains:
1) Sendai - Shin Aomori: Hayabusa super express (shinkansen).
2) Shin Aomori - Aomori: Akebono limited express.
3) Aomori - Hakodate: Super Hakucho limited express.
I hope train / Japan / countryside lovers enjoy it as I did!
PS: note the Akebono limited express (the historic night train travelling from Tokyo to Aomori via Akita) and the stop at the Tappi-Kaitei undersea station in the Seikan tunnel. The PA system says: the train will stop at the Tappi-Kaitei station, but the doors will not open. The station was sadly closed recently, in order to make room for the Hokkaido shinkansen.

Artful Yamaguchi Festival
A sort of village fete in the center of Yamaguchi with various stalls and a koto / singing performance at the end. Skip to 7:20 for the koto/singing performance (or see recent video).
There were no non-Japanese were there, other than myself, a colleague and an exchange student at the same school as the performers.

japan 2012 - my trip to japan
This is a movie I made from pictures and videos I took while in japan 4 months ago when I went there with my dad and had the most amazing time of my life.
some of them are a bit shaky, but I hope my message got through ^^
Japan was everything I could ever have dreamed of, no matter how manny people have asked me, I can never put it into words, and even if I'd try, I would talk for hours! ^^'
It is beyond beutiful, that much I can tell you. I had an image of what I though japan would be like when I got there, and was I wrong...it was so much more!
It is just perfect in everyway in my eyes, everything, every litle detail.
like said before, this was 4 months ago now, and I am allready planning on going back! ;u;
I am thinking of going back and this time stay for A YEAR, or well so I hope.
I wish to study japanese at a language school for a year after I've finnished highschool.
But I still have another 2-3 years befor this will be, so till then I will have to sit and wait ^^''
