Hinohara is a village located in the western portion of Tokyo Metropolis, in the central Kantō region of Japan.As of 1 February 2016, the village had an estimated population of 2,194 and a population density of 20.8 persons per km².Its total area was 105.41 square kilometres .It is the only administrative unit left in the non-insular area of Tokyo that is still classified as a village.

風張峠ダウンヒル 等倍速【峠・山・道・自転車・関東】
ロードバイク（スポーツ用の自転車）のハンドルに固定したデジカメで撮影した映像になります。
DSCN1064 ヒルクライマにとって、日本には伝説的な峠がある。風張峠の名前を聞けば、泣く子も黙る険しい峠です。走行していると八ヶ岳を走行しているようなロマンチックな錯覚に襲われます。それも道理で、風張峠（かざっぱりとうげ）の標高は、１２１０ｍです。五日市駅から都民の森を目指して走ってください。
だが、見かけとは大違いで、実は美ヶ原ヒルクライムを征服するなら、風張峠といわれるほどの難所。
ＪＲ青梅駅・奥多摩湖から、風張峠へ経由して都民の森駐車場・桧原村・ＪＲ五日市駅まで周回する事もできます。
この日、天気快晴、気温７℃。こんなにヒルクライマーは居たのかと、感激するほどのおびただしい人数が、奥多摩周遊道路からぞくぞく自転車が登ってくる。でも奥多摩湖が見渡せて景観の良い月夜見山駐車場どまり。風張峠駐車場まで来る方は、ごくまれ。なお道程は、このビデオの２倍ある下るだけでも２０分を要する。
登ってきて都民の森駐車場方向に降りてくる方は、見かけない。話変わって、登りの険しい五日市側から登ってくる人はわたしを含めて、３人だけでした。その内の一人は、風張峠と甲武トンネル交差点との間を、ピストンしていました。このような方が、美ヶ原ヒルクライムを征するのでしょうか。かなり超人的なかたです。
この日はまで、柳沢峠まで足をのばしたかったのですが、丹波村のバス折り返し場あたりで、引き返しました。我ながら、よく頑張りましたが、風張峠ダウンヒルには、わたしも参りました。もちろん、風張峠に自転車で登るとカロリーが消費されて、ダイエットにも効果絶大です。振動系マシンでは、効果がありませんから！
