Thailand is a great rock climbing destination, full of adventure, fun, new friends and much more. Tonsai beach as well as Railay beach are some of the best places to climb in Thailand, and it is located in Krabi, just a short boat ride from Ao Nang beach. We spent the last 3 weeks rock climbing and relaxing in Tonsai a Rock Climbers Paradise and a must go to destination for any true rock climber!

В Тайланде по скалам лазают не только обезьяны. Активный отдых, приключения и туризм привлекает огромное количество путешественников на Краби Тайланд. Пляжи Краби славятся лазурным морем и красивейшими скалами, которые просто не могли обойти стороной скалолазы со всех стран мира. Альпинизм на Краби - это место для скалолазания мирового класса. Карстовые формации известняка предлагают широкий выбор восхождений. Скалы провинции Krabi Thailand - часть самого большого в мире кораллового рифа, протянувшегося от Китая до Папуа Новой Гвинеи.
В округе Краби-таун есть несколько скальных массивов, пригодных для rock climbing. Но нет ни одного, до которого можно добраться по суше. Даже к тем, которые находятся на побережье, добраться можно только по морю. Места для climbing есть на каждом пляже Рейли. Скалолазы обитают на пляжах Тон Сай (Ton Sai), Рейли (Railay) и Прананг (Phranang).
Скальный массив Railay Beach – несколько скал, окружающих мыс. Сам по себе мыс не очень большой и найти скалы там не сложно, но есть разные дороги, которые выводят на разные изолированные друг от друга пляжи. Добраться до скального массива Railay Beach можно только по морю на лодке. Пляж очень популярен своими скальными гротами, поэтому найти лодку из любого ближайшего поселка не составит труда.
Жилье можно найти как непосредственно на пляже Тонсай, так и на соседнем пляже Рэйли (до основных маршрутов нужно будет ходить 15-30 минут), где чуть больше выбор. На Тонсае не проведено электричество, поэтому днем света обычно нет, в остальное время работают специальные дизельные генераторы. Стоимость жилья варьируется от 150 бат за палатку, до нескольких тысяч за домик в хорошем резорте. За 500-800 бат (в зависимости от сезона) можно найти очень простой домик рядом с основными скалолазными маршрутами и недалеко от пляжа.
На пляже Тон Сай есть бюджетное жильё, некоторые даже живут в палатках и ежедневно лазают по скалам. Скалистый пляж Тон Сай является наиболее популярным у скалолазов.
Скалолазание это большое приключение, но не без риска. При подъеме нужно быть осторожным и при встрече с животным миром. Обезьяны часто встречается на маршрутах и вы не должны пытаться оспорить их территорию. Встречаются при подъеме змеи, шершни, гекконы.
На полуострове Рейли Краби имеются с десяток школ скалолазания в которых заняты профессиональные инструкторы, где при желании можно пройти обучение. Среди них есть и сертифицированные climber инструкторы. Наиболее известны: школа скалолазания «Basecamp Ton Sai» , «Tex Rock Climbing» и «Hot Rock Climbing». Трёхдневное обучение в данных школах в среднем стоит около 100$. Обучение с персональным инструктором обойдётся в районе 2.500 бат в день.Так же в районе Рейли бич можно приобрести книжку, где описаны все возможные маршруты для скалолазания. Говорят,что доступно более 1.500 маршрутов для скалолазания. Так же в районе вышеуказанных пляжей можно взять на прокат снаряжение для скалолазания.
На Рейли можно повстречаться со многими альпинистами мирового класса. В районе пляжа Прананг каждую российскую зиму по скалам лазает русский альпинист, которому 70 лет- Андрей Андронович Дидух , никогда не пил и не курил, занимается йогой. По скалам он лазает без страховки, чем очень удивляет публику, находящуюся в этот момент на пляже Прананг.
Мы сами не скалолазы, но с интересом наблюдали за этими интересными занятиями. Если вы занимаетесь скалолазанием или захотите этому научиться езжайте в провинцию Краби на полуостров Рейли. Скалолазание Тайланд - очень интересное занятие !

КАК ДОБРАТЬСЯ НА РЕЙЛИ
• От пляжа Ao Nang до Railay стоимость проезда на длиннохвостой лодке - long-tail boat (тайс. เรือหางยาว) фиксирована и составляет 100 бат/чел. Маршрут этих лодок выглядит так: пляж Ао Нанг - пляж Тон Сай - пляж Западный Рейли - пляж Пра Нанг. Расстояние от пляжа Ао Нанг до пляжей Рейли составляет около 2 км, и поездка занимает от 15-20 мин
• От набережной Краби-Таун на Рейли ходят лодки по фиксированной цене 150 бат с человека. Время в пути 25-30 мин. Прибывают лодки на пляж Восточный Рейли, откуда на более красивые пляжи, Пра Нанг, Западный Рейли и Тон Сай, нужно уже идти пешком.

The main part of the day was spent fruit-spraying with our new manually operated bug-sprayer.
After the bug-spraying was complete it was time to get out of the heat of the day & have a tasty Thai lunch with our beloved dog Bambi.

Welcome to Toon & Leigh porpeang farm Thailand (Youtube channel started April 2017).
We live in the quiet Prang Sila Thong district of Kampheang Phet.
The late King of Thailand ~ Rama IX (King Bhumibol Adulyadej) was a great teacher of leading a porpeang farming existence.
Porpeang centres around being as close to self sufficiency as possible & not concentrating on growing one crop. The selling of any surplus goes towards buying essentials such as clothes & fuel etc.
It is a way of life that creates very little waste, uses few chemicals & can help the local community.
The vast diversity that can be achieved within a small area is amazing & brings the farmer closer to nature.
Choosing to live the porpeang way can be a steep learning curve with livestock, fish, fruits & vegetables all needing care & attention.
In addition to the farm we are also constructing a jungle style fishing lake.

In the lower north of Thialand on the bank of the Ping River, Kamphaeng Phet is about halfway between Bangkok and Chiang Mai
Areas along the river bank at present-day city used to host several ancient towns which had played a major role as strategic front-lines since Sukhothai was the kingdom's capital down through the times of Ayutthaya and early Rattanakosin (Bangkok) eras. In fact, the name Kamphaeng Phet actually means walls as strong as diamonds
Its great history fell into oblivion & Kamphaeng Phet was an ordinary, smallish province city until the establishment of the historical park and its listing as a World Heritage site in 1991. Still, Kamphaeng Phet is—unlike its well-known neighbour Sukhothai—ignored by the main flow of tourists. Some may view this as a drawback, but those looking to experience the authentic, upcountry Thialand, are coming just to the right place

Bua Thong Waterfalls | Chiang Mai's Sticky Waterfalls
Location: Bua Thong Waterfalls (Sticky Waterfalls) - Chiang Mai, Thailand
We rented motor bikes and took about a two hour drive out of the city to some really cool waterfalls! They are called the Bua Thong
Waterfalls aka “Sticky Waterfalls.” They get their name because of mineral in the water allows you to walk on the rocks without falling!
Driving to the Bua Thong Waterfalls is quite the haul. It us over two hours to get there. However, I do think the drive is worth it. You literally feel like spiderman climbing up the sticky waterfalls.
It's such a weird feeling for a waterfall to be sticky it messes with your mind because you think you're going to slip, but you can just climb right up the waterfall. As far as I know, the Bua Thong waterfalls are the only waterfalls in the world that have this sticky feature.

In this video we took an Ayutthaya (อยุธยา), Thailand day trip tour from Bangkok. After visiting a temple, we then at Thai boat noodles, visited a few more attractions in Ayutthaya, and finished the day with an epic meal of huge freshwater shrimp, one of the best foods to eat in Thailand!
Ayutthaya (อยุธยา), Thailand - The drive from Bangkok to Ayutthaya took about 1.5 hours, and we rolled into Ayutthaya sometime in the middle of the morning.
Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon (วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล) - Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon (วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล) is one of the most significant and interesting ancient temples to visit in Ayutthaya. What I like most about the temple is being able to climb to the middle level for a nice view over the temple complex.
Boat noodles at Kuay Teow Reua Pa Lek (ร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือป้าเล็ก) - After visiting one of the famous temples in Ayutthaya, we then headed to eat boat noodles. The boat noodles were alright, but they weren’t the best I’ve had. They were actually a little on the sweet side for me, but still good.
Wat Mahathat (วัดมหาธาตุ) - Another one of the must see attractions in Ayutthaya, locate in Ayutthaya historical park is Wat Mahathat (วัดมหาธาตุ). One of the most well known sites at this temple is the head of Buddha which fell down and has been wrapped up inside the roots of a tree.
Freshwater prawns / shrimp at Rauen Sai Nam Restaurant (ร้านอาหารเรือนสายน้ำ) - One of the best reasons to go to Ayutthaya is to eat freshwater shrimp. They are absolutely sensational. On this day trip to Ayutthaya we drove over to a restaurant called Rauen Sai Nam Restaurant (ร้านอาหารเรือนสายน้ำ). The giant freshwater prawns were grilled with nothing on them, and they are truly some of the most amazing single ingredient things you’ll ever taste in your life.

Feeding fish in the River Kwai
Feeding fish at the Flying Fox Buddhist sanctuary near Pattaya. The trees were full of fruit bats - thousands of them - (see my video) and the monks were sat outside their temple smoking roll-ups and talking about the English Premiership!!

Guppy Fish Care, 10 Things You Should Know About Guppies! Great Beginner Fish!

The list of reasons why Guppies are one of the most popular fish in aquariums is long, their bright colors, constant movement and the fact that they're really easy to keep makes them attractive to almost any fish keeper.
Before you run out and get your first group of these gems here are 10 things you should know about Guppies
1. Where are they from
- We've done a few of these 10 things videos on specific fish and whenever we talk about where they originate we always say the same thing and that's that it doesn't really matter where they originate because most of the fish you'll find in the hobby are going to be captive bred.
2. Tank Requirements
- Guppies are kinda like bettas in that they're a really small fish and because of that allot of new fish keepers believe they can put them in pretty much anything and the'll be fine.
- While it's true they don't need a huge tank we like to recommend a minimum of 5 gallons to do the right thing by these fish
3. Tank Mates
- Guppies are one of those fish that you don't really have to worry about bothering any other fish in the tank the concern needs to be putting tank mates with them that wont bother your Guppies.
- When selecting tank mates look for smaller community type fish that are known for being peaceful with other fish. Stay away from any fish that has a reputation for being fin nippers.

- If you're looking into breeding fish to take your hobby to the next level Guppies are a great way to start because they're practically a just add water type of fish.
- Guppies are live bearers which means they don't lay eggs that they have to protect till they hatch. They give birth to fully formed free swimming fry.
6. Food
- I'm the lucky one that drew the food straw in this video, probably the easiest one we've ever done.
- Guppies aren't picky about food at all, the only issue you might have is making sure the food is small enough for them.
- The best advice is to stick with a good community flake which you can find anywhere. They'll also do really well on frozen baby brine shrimp or if you prefer pellets something like the Northfin .5mm community pellets.
7. Common diseases
- One of the more common diseases in Guppies is ich and there's a pretty specific reason for this. No it's not that they're more seceptible to it, it's actually simpler than that.
- Guppies are siceptible to ich because they're not cared for properly by allot of fish keepers. So many new fish keepers believe that heaters aren't necessary for them.
8. Easy To Keep/ Great Beginner Fish
- Guppies are a great beginner fish for allot of reasons. For one they're absolutely gorgeous.
- 2 is they're very hearty and can make it through allot of the common mistakes that new fish keepers make.
- 3 is they don't require a huge tank which is good because most fish keepers aren't gonna start with a 75 or 100 gallon tank.
9. Life Span
- A well kept guppy can typically live 1-3 years. That might not seem like allot but there's something else to think about. If you get a good ratio of males and females these fish will breed like crazy.
So when you look at it and say well they only live a couple years just think of it like this. If you do your job they will come and go but you'll never be without them.
10. Make a statement (Lisa)
- Think about it. How many aquariums have you seen that have 1 or 2 fish in it and you think, that's just so boring, I need color, I need movement.
- Well with a Guppy tank you get everything you want. You get tons of color, all kinds of activity, you don't need a huge tank, they don't cost allot AND they're easy to keep.
- If you're new to fish keeping and thinking of which fish to get for your first tank, consider Guppies, you can make a huge statement and have allot of fun.
