Final days in Turkey

We decided our morning walk would be to Kaya Village where we had a reservation for breakfast. It was about a 5km walk to the desserted village from where we were staying. The village has a really interesting history and would recommend reading the book Birds without Wings which is based on the history of Kayaköy.
The breakfast at the Hotel Istanbul was phenomenal. The food just kept on coming! We had everything from eggs, cheese, meats to jams and honeycomb and dried fruit. (
Then we went down to Sun City Beach Club for a nice long (well needed) swim around the lagoon.
Final day consisted of my usual walk around and up and down the hills, packing up, and going to the Hisaranu market. I bought dried fruits and Turkish Delight and my siblings also bought herbs and spices for their cooking this year. We then completed the Hotel Room Escape at the Gondol Apartments we were staying at. It was absolutely fantastic and so clever. Definitely would recommend it as an activity for a bit of fun besides the beach!

The Lycian Way starts near to the Montana Pine Resort just outside Oludeniz. I walked a few miles before turning back but you could continue to Fethiye for a full days walk.
