House of Museum is established in March 2017 and started from the passion of collecting antiques. Not just any antiques, but antiques that are rare and unique. This museum provided a house full of antiques with different section such as barbershop, cinema, kitchen, living room and more.
So, for the people that are born after the 90s will be able to look at how their parents, grandparents, and people lived in the 50s to 70s with the real item and also for those who are in the 50s to 70s to recall those olden days memories with the old stuff that they have been used once upon a time. It is like a time tunnel to ride to the past and explore.

Red House Melaka
Malacca is one of the most culturally and historically rich city in Malaysia, being the centre of the powerful Malacca sultanate during the medieval ages. Since then, it has been colonized by the Portuguese, Dutch and British respectively, forming an intriguing mix of cultures. The state, rightly dubbed Negeri Bersejarah or the Historical State in Malay, has an attractive variety of sights, food, inhabitants and architecture that would definitely appeal to any curious visitors.
A Brief History of Malacca
Established by the Srivijayan Prince Parameswara, the Sultanate of Malacca was a powerful force in the Malay archipelagos during the 1400s to the early 1500s. Legend has it that Parameswara decided to establish Malacca after seeing one of his hunting dogs defeated by a mouse deer, naming the state after the tree he was resting under. At the height of its power, the Malaccan Sultanate ruled over a major portion of the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.
In 1511, the Portuguese under the command of Afonso de Albuquerque conquered Malacca, with the intent of turning it into a centre for trade and expansion.
Unfortunately, the Portuguese failed to keep Malacca and the city soon fell to Dutch invaders. The Dutch, however, was not interested in developing Malacca, ceding it to the British some time later. Malacca later became part of the Malayan Union, the predecessor of the Malaysia we know today.
Culture and Attractions
On 7 July 2008, Malacca was officially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its important cultural and historical significance. The town of Malacca is literally filled to the brim with places to visit for the culturally-curious. This article can only cover the tip of the iceberg, but hopefully it will serve as a rough guide to any interested visitors.
Many museums have been established to contain the significant artefacts from Malacca's rich history. Among the more prominent museums are the Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum, the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum and the Museum of History and Ethnography.
One of the most popular places to visit is none other than the ruins of A Famosa-the most famous legacy from the time Malacca spent under Portuguese rule. It is what remains of the Portuguese fort originally built to defend Malacca. Another unique attraction in Malacca are the various red structures originally of Dutch construction and design, such as the Christ Church and various other historical structures.
The most famous of the red structures, however, has to be the Stadthuys. The oldest remaining Dutch structure in the region, it is more popularly known as the Red Square or the Red House. Originally constructed to be the residence of the Dutch governor, it now houses the Museum of History and Ethnography.
Visitors to Malacca should also take note to visit Jonker Street (officially known as Jalan Hang Jebat). The street houses many buildings that date back all the way to the 17th century. It is also littered with traditional businesses selling items found nowhere else, ranging from antiques to crafts to unique food such as chicken rice balls. Ever since the government took steps to make it a tourist destination, more effort has been poured into the street to showcase the best of Malaccan culture-turning it into a must-visit spot for anyone exploring the town.

Some local Melaka (Malacca) food in the video are Mochi is rice cake covered in peanut powders. The rice cake is floppy and sweet and peanut powder is crispy and salty. Fruit candy stick is a dessert where variety of fruits are attached into a stick. Then the whole stick is submerged into brown sugar (ping tang). This is children and young adult favorites.

This church was built by Portuguese in year 1521. It is the oldest church building in Malaysia and South East Asia.

First of all, I've found a Malaysia version Gotemba Premium Outlet! LOL. Okay...
Here's a spoiler of a day in Malacca and some highlights for you guys out there who hasn't been there before. You might want to skip this if you have.
Malacca (Melaka) is one of the state that's full of history about Malaysia. Get nostalgic or brought back to almost a century back with lots of preserved buildings, artefacts and cannons showcased to the public! Plenty of museums for you to find out what happened back then.
It's about 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. If you're a tourist, rent a car and drive over, or take a bus there. This video doesn't cover much about accommodation. But you can easily hop into a guest house or hotel around Jonker Walk or Mahkota Pahlawan. They are both walking distance between each other. Have fun and enjoy the video!

Malacca (Malay: Melaka, dubbed The Historic State ) is the third smallest Malaysian state after Perlis and Penang. It is located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Straits of Malacca. It borders Negeri Sembilan to the north and Johor to the south. The capital is Malacca City, which is 148 kilometres (92 miles) south east of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur, 235 kilometres (146 miles) north west to Johor's largest city Johor Bahru, and 95 km (59 miles) north west to Johor's second largest city, Batu Pahat. This historical city centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008.Although it was the location of one of the earliest Malay sultanates, the monarchy was abolished when the Portuguese conquered it in 1511. The head of state is the Yang di-Pertua Negeri or Governor, rather than a Sultan.
The historic centre of Malacca was inscribed on the World Heritage List on 7 July 2008 together with George Town, the capital of Penang.
Two of the most important museums in Malacca are the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum and the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum.
Belacan, a Malay variety of shrimp paste, is prepared from fresh shrimp of a species known as keragu in Malay. .
A population of Portuguese descent, who speak a Portuguese creole, are the descendants of colonists from the 16th and 17th centuries. Even to this day, many of the traditions originating with the Portuguese occupation are still practised, i.e. Intrudu from Portuguese word Entrudo (a water festival that marks the beginning of Lent, the Catholic fasting period), branyu (traditional dance), Santa Cruz (a yearly Festival of street celebrations). The Portuguese colonists contributed dishes like Devil's Curry and Portuguese egg tarts to the town's cuisine. Ikan Bakar (roasted fish) restaurants in Umbai, Serkam and Alai are also popular.
There is also a sizeable number of Sikhs residing in Malacca, and Sikhs from Malacca and abroad congregate in the gurdwara (Sikh temple) situated in Jalan Temenggong during the last weekend of May, to commemorate the death of its former priest, Sant Baba Sohan Singh Ji, who was elevated to a saint upon passing away.[citation needed] Visitors are welcome but are advised to follow rules and common practices within the premises.

Hello, good morning. Welcome back to #TravelVlog in #Malacca. Thursday, August 1st, 2019.
This day is Last day in Malacca. No not feel, have finished the holiday here. Today, I am with my sister go to some place in Malacca. Among others are The Stadthuys (Red Building), Sultanante Melaka Palace Museum (The History Place), Taming Sari Tower (the big tower that we can up) and Melaka Sentral (The Bus Station). We're go with GrabCar. You can download application in PlayStore or Apple Store. there are some places that can be just a walk away, such as the Museum Sultanante Melaka Palace and Menara Taming Sari (if you don't know this route, I give advice, you can order GrabCar, this is the easy way .
The first place we’re coming, The Stadthuys (red building) this is a free place you can visit. We’re go with grabcar. All costs here, I will write below this description. If you are around this red building, you can take a video or photo and buy some snacks around here. what is this halal food around here? About this, i don't know because i don't buy food here.
The second place, we go to the Museum Melaka Sultanate Palace on foot, because this place is not far from The Stadthuys. So hot weather. Oya, we're bringing luggage and cabin, kwkwkw. LoL. Yeah, because after some place we're visit is done, we will go back to Kuala Lumpur, Keep Spirit for us. Here we only take a photo’s and videos.
Next, the third place, we go to Menara Taming Sari with GrabCar. Before we ordered GrabCar, we tried walking, because as far as I know looking at Google maps, this place (Menara Taming Sari) is not far from here. Because we didn't know this route, we finally ordered GrabCar. When we arrived here, I did not go up this tower, because I was afraid to go up and no one accompanied me (my sister did not want to ride this). if you go up the Menara Taming Sari, you can buy tickets at the counter, and this place is not free.
After we visited from here, we immediately went to Melaka Sentral to buy bus tickets online to kuala Lumpur. Before we’re coming bus station, we lunch in Restoran DAC. I have been to this place twice. the place name is Restaurant DAC in Mallaca Sentral. Yesterday, I am having dinner with Bakso/Meatball (Bakso name is Indonesian Language) + The O Ice and today, I am having lunch with Rice + Fish (I am forget what is the name fish? Heheh) + The O Ice. So delicious, satisfied and cheap price. I recommend for you, if you come in Malacca don't forget you recommend this place is Restaurant DAC in Melaka Sentral.

Melaka River Night Cruise (Boat Tour Along the Malacca River) in Malacca, Malaysia
In this travel video we head to the Melaka River for a night cruise boat tour in Malacca, Malaysia. Having visited parts of this river on foot during the day it looked totally different at night with the neon lights reflecting in the water. I've noticed over the years a lot of development in the area. Although it's certainly more upscale and posh with new apartments, condos and boutique hotels, I feel it's lost some charm given that many of the traditional houses along the river (kampong) are now gone. Overall, we enjoyed the boat ride and given it only cost 15 Ringgit ($5 USD) we'd recommend it to others visiting the city.

The Melaka River was once in a pretty nasty state, but the authorities realized its tourism potential and cleaned it up. A flotilla of small boats transports sightseers up and down past historic buildings, old warehouses (godowns), interesting mangrove stands, churches, and villages. The 1998 Sean Connery movie Entrapment was partially filmed here. Tours last about 45 minutes in boats ranging from 20- to 40-seaters, and normally a minimum of eight passengers is required before departure. Take a taxi to the jetty at Taman Rempah, about 20 minutes from Melaka town (about RM20). You can request beforehand to be dropped at the jetty beside the Maritime Museum instead of traveling back up river, but it's not advisable to take the boat from that jetty, as it's not a normal stop:
Melaka River is a river which flows through the middle Malacca Town in the Malaysian state of Malacca. It was once an important trade route during the heyday of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century. It has lost most of this function in the present and is a mere tourist attraction.
We have our tickets in hand and tonight we are going to be doing the Melaka River Cruise.
The city really lights up at night.
I'm really enjoying this right now because I've actually only walked along this area. I've never taken the boat and I've never done this at night so this is awesome.
It is so much easier and convenient taking the boat than walking.
My favorite part of the tour has been getting to see all of the art on the exterior of the buildings by the river.
Since I first came here back in 2008 there has been a lot of development in the area. There used to be a lot of traditional homes alongside the Kampong the river but not anymore. Now there are boutique hotels and condos. It has lost a little bit of its charm in my opinion.|
