Part 4 of this Ireland adventure sees me see some sights of the Ireland's capital, visit Connolly Station and catch the DART suburban train to the harbour town of Howth. I walk the coastal trail and return to Dublin Airport to catch Ryanair home.

Howth and Howth Cliff Walk: a perfect day trip from Dublin
Howth and the Howth Cliff Walk are perfect for a day trip from Dublin. In this small guide, I'll show you around Howth and, most of all, the famous Howth Cliff Walk which is perfect if you want to escape from the city center and find a bit of Ireland very close to Dublin. The walk is not hard and the first part is very touristy but if you continue walking, you will end up in a Paradise where it's going to be you and very few people around. How to arrive in Howth:
You can reach Howth using the DART from Dublin's city center (25 minutes)
Hop on the 31, 31, 31b from Dublin City Centre to Howth.
Once in Howth, you can have a walk around the village and the beach, have a look at the famous seals in Howth and then, eventually, start your hike on the Howth Cliff Walk to arrive in Sutton.
You can also do the opposite: arrive in Sutton and start the Howth Cliff Walk from Sutton towards Howth.
In both cases, the Howth Cliff Path is just an amazing day to spend your time when in Dublin.

Walking around Howth Ireland | Joyvel
This time I wanted to go alone to take my time making some videos and photography, unfortunately the weather was not in favor but almost in the end of the day the sky cleared up and I could see the bright sun.
Howth is a peninsula northeast of Dublin City in Ireland. Howth falls under the local governance of Fingal County Council. Entry to the headland is at Sutton while the village of Howth and the harbour are on the northern shore. Baily Lighthouse is on the southeastern part of Howth Head. Nearby are the districts of Baldoyle and Portmarnock.

We spent a full day in Dublin, the next day was in Galway and the following day was in Howth. Didn't get much footage on the first two days but glad that I did record some on our last day in Ireland. Would definitely come back!

Baily Lighthouse in Howth, just why should you bother? Well, because lighthouses are one of the most iconic motives in landscape photography, either as themselves or as a part of the often rugged landscape. And Baily Lighthouse, situated on cliffs extending into Dublin Bay from Howth, must be one of Ireland's most photographed lighthouses on the eastern coastline. Because of its scenic setting. Because of its old-fashioned design. And because of its relatively easy accessibility.

Howth Ireland Right Up The Road From Dublin
Just a short train ride from Dublin Ireland is Howth. Howth is an Irish village on the Howth Peninsula. The first shot in video is as we came in for a landing at Dublin and flew over it. We went over with no tour guide and found our way to the cliff walk, the lighthouse and then some good food at a restaurant called Octopussy's. Still a lot more to see there. Its a great way to spend the day and get away from the city. I'll be back...

HOWTH, DUBLIN Coastal Walk
Howth is a short, 3 euro, bus ride from Dublin centre. It is a stunning coastal town with delicious markets, fish 'n chips, and of course a beautiful coastal walk.
Definitely a must-do when on the eastern side of Ireland.
Must do's in Howth from me:
- Coastal walk
- Have a local pint at The Harbour Bar (microbrewery)
- Watch the sunset from the lighthouse
- Get a bite to eat at the Howth Market
- Eat Leo Burdock's Fish 'n Chips on the ground with a nice view of the water

Howth, Dublin - Day Trip from Dublin, Ireland 2020 - Petite Paradise Studio Travel Guide in 4K
Hi guys, Dublin is a lovely city, but the smaller towns around it are quaint and picturesque. I spent December 30th of 2019 in Howth, a harbor town about 1 hr bus ride from Downtown Dublin.
Depends on where you stay in Dublin. For me I took bus 31 from the bus station right in front of Talbot Mall all the way to the last station in Howth at the cliff. It was a lovely stroll along the cliff path down to the harbor in town. There are a few restaurants, bars and coffee shops along the main road. I had steak for lunch which was a mistake but I didn't want more fish and chips.
For one of the best view of Howth, climb a few stairs up to St. Marry ruin. After that, you can walk around the older part of this quaint town.
I hope you enjoy this day trip from Dublin because I did very much.
