The Beauty Of Sør-Varanger - Langøra In Kirkenes And Pasvik National Park
The first clips show the view from Langøra. A small mountain in Kirkenes. The pond is called Postmestervatn. The people around here use to swim here during hot days. But not many of those lately.
In the end you can see the pier and Hurtigruten and also the beautiful view from where we are standing.
All drone shots are cleared with Høybuktmoen Flight Tower.
The last clips are from Pasvik National Park. No drones allowed here due to the wildlife.
Øvre Pasvik has the northernmost virgin forest in
Norway, and the park is a patchwork of ancient
woodland, bogs and lakes. The area occupies the
North-Western corner of the Siberian taiga. Easterly
species are found here that occur nowhere else in
the entire length of Norway. The ancient pinewood
in Øvre Pasvik is home to species that depend
upon such woodland, and there is also a strong
population of brown bears. At the end of the road into the National Park you find a big timber cabin and this place is called Sortbrysttjern.
I leave the link to the National Park below so that you all can read a bit about it:
We are now traveling South and we hope to capture and bring you all some great videos and pictures from our Journey.

Reclaimed Barn Wood Repair
As summer fades, its now time to finally repair the south side of the barn to keep our goats and sheep cozy. The old wood was weathered, rotting, and no longer secure. I reclaimed some doug fir barn siding from a neighbor and used it to repair my barn. From barn to barn.

Sami people
The Sami people, also spelled Sámi or Saami, are the indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting the Arctic area of Sápmi, which today encompasses parts of far northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Kola Peninsula of Russia, and the border area between south and middle Sweden and Norway. The Sámi are the only indigenous people of Scandinavia recognized and protected under the international conventions of indigenous peoples, and are hence the northernmost indigenous people of Europe. Sami ancestral lands span an area of approximately 388,350 km2 , which is approximately the size of Norway, in the Nordic countries. Their traditional languages are the Sami languages and are classified as a branch of the Uralic language family.
