Our Sales manager met and discussed this option, and endeavoured to assess the overall client requirement for their project.
HOYTS had engaged a Graphic Design House to develop Environment themes and concepts along with some specific sign types. Treat City; Eat Street , and Arties Bar and Café.
Client was ready to lift their branding and discussed how we could partner to achieve. A considerable aspect of their fitout design was the inclusion of high resolution digital screens that have a vibrance that could make signage pale alongside if incorrect choices were made.
They needed a signmaker with a holistic approach – that could grasp and add value to their project objectives. The client’s presence in the marketplace is highly visual in a very competitive market – product they market is a visual experience. We had to demonstrate that we were experienced, capable and that we had the capacity to cater to the demanding nature this project deserved.
Client had a budget. We had to take their limited 2D design and bring it to life in all varying 3D sign types and styles . Assisted them manage how they spent their money with an eye on a top outcome.
Drawing on our Graphic and Industrial Design expertise we were able to create, prototype and test so that the outcomes were what you can see.
Material choice along with premium lighting methods we applied, were the key.
It has resulted in crisp, bright and slim illuminated elements that compliment and “feature” in each of the environments. High gloss approach adopted – standard methods did not necessarily meet that criteria.
In addition some classic elements were added such as distressed hand painted graphics on weathered timber planks and brickwork, oldstyle street signage.

When 18-year-old Lawrence is caught cheating on his final year math exam, he fails to get into medical school and is banished to stay at his goofy Uncle’s house for the summer. By chance he meets ‘The Professor’- a colourful aging conman who invites Lawrence to join him and his sharp-tonged daughter Sarah on a road trip.
