The local government of Dongguan made chucked millions of RMB at Huangqi Mt. City Park, combining Qifeng Park and Huying Park with a brand greenway, the park next door and turned it into one of the most beautiful spots in Dongguan.

With the summer just around the corner, it's time to get out more and what better way to do it than heading out hiking out a mountain and sleeping under the stars and this month? That's exactly what we are going to do.
Now camping in China is pretty much unheard of, but it's a great activity. It's healthy and a lot of fun.
Now in Dongguan, there are quite a few places where you can camp out. And today, Geno is joined by my good friends Fernando and Marce, and he is going to be taking them on an over night hike up Qingxi mountain.
Qingxi mountain is about 60 km outside of Dongguan downtown area next to a town called Tangxia. Before heading off, there are things you need to prepare.

Dongguan Live: 2.Biking and Where to Buy
Greetings, salutations and welcome to the show, in this months exciting extravaganza we will be taking a look at biking here in Dongguan. Where to buy bikes, where to ride, and importantly, how to stay safe.
Biking is by far the biggest and most popular activity right now, its healthy, clean and its transport and if you know anything about me, then you know that's it's a big part of my life.
Here in Dongguan there are bikes shops for every kind of taste and budget. You needn't spend a fortune to be able to enjoy a 2 wheeled freedom machine, BUT remember if you get something half descent it will last much longer.
As there are so many bike shops in Dongguan now, Ive have chosen to show you 3 that combined can cater for every need.
We have our show sponsor and technical gurus, The Fuji shop. For a good selection of all round bikes in Dongcheng, there's Ibike. And then in Nan cheng, again for across the board bikes, we have Good Bikes. Between these 3 they cover pretty much anything you could ever want bike wize.
One of the first things you will need to think about before buying a bike is what style you want. Be it a road bike or mountain bike. Most people here in Dongguan do tend to go for a mountain bike as it will do everything, Where as a road bike with its thin wheels is more limited. But this is the same everywhere so that choice is up to you.

Dongguan Live: 18.Basketball City
Living in Dongguan is living in a basketball city, so it's no surprise that our host Geno is a fan of the Winnerway Guangdong Southern Tigers. In this month's Dongguan Live, Geno shows us around the Southern Tigers new state of the art stadium and the 2012 Dongguan Charity Cup which was held in Dongguan Sports Centre on 30th October.
Along with Southern Tiger's coach Jason Dixon, Geno toured the new stadium meeting Yi Jianlian, Zhu fangyu, Wang Shipeng and the rest of the city's heroes. Joining everyone in training was Derrick Caracter, the latest American recruit. Not quite the newcomer, Jason has been in Dongguan for more than 10 years and has even received an award as a Dongguan honorary citizen. When asked what keeps him around besides the basketball, he humorously replied: Go-karting, we have some go-karts in Huanan Mal and love them! All the players want to ride them when we're not wrapped up in basketball which happens all day, like practice which happens twice a day, and even when we're not doing it we're watching tapes on it. So that's why we're here, we're here to work and it's my life.
The new stadium hosts several restrooms, saunas, constant temperature tubs, weights gyms and two NBA standard courts. The gyms are totally modern with traditional free-weight equipment and pressurized air resistance machinery that puts less strain on a player's joints. The secret of a long career is for player's to take care of their body off the court. People don't see what we do off the court, it's a lot of stretching, icing and a lot of heat. Now these excellent training facilities have been built in one location our player's will be kept in good shape for a long time, Jason said. After filming downstairs, Jason invited Geno to try the ice tub and led him along with a big smile on his face. With just one foot in, the freezing cold produced an immediate reaction, Geno was in and out in seconds while Jason laughed!
