Huble Homestead Historic Site
Located 40km north of Prince George, Huble Homestead Historic Site is situated on the shores of the Fraser River. Bring your family (and dog) for a few hours of exploration, learning, and fun as you browse various buildings, including the Huble House, Seebach & Huble General Store, blacksmith shop, animal barn (with sheep), and more. Treat yourself to a homemade pie from the General Store after playing a game of horseshoes.

Huble Homestead is open for the season. The Huble Homestead is a living historic site that offers tours of heritage buildings. All aspects of the site represent a time in history the Huble Homestead/Giscome Portage Heritage Society has proudly preserved on behalf of the community, heritage and history of the area. Bring a picnic, enjoy a walk in the countryside or walk the historic Giscome Portage. Visit the blacksmith to see demonstrations, find the perfect gift at the General Store, have lunch, visit the livestock or just lie down in the grass and enjoy the sunshine.

Huble Homestead Historic Site
Huble Homestead Historic Site is located at the base of the historic Giscome Portage on the banks of the mighty Fraser River. Originally a farm and fur trading post, the homestead has been restored to its 1915 condition and is open to the public from May to October for daily guided tours, lunch, and shopping in the General Store. Special events are held on weekends throughout the summer and feature blacksmithing and pioneer demonstrations, games and contests for the whole family, and live entertainment. Huble Homestead is located 40km north of Prince George, just off highway 97 on Mitchell Road. Admission is by donation.
