The Miracle on the Hudson plane - How it looks now
US Airways Miracle on the Hudson plane
READ BEFORE COMMENTING. Although it seems I am required to be, I am not an expert on aviation in general, or this plane, nor it's engines or raft. I am simply showing what it looks like sitting in this museum. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy the video!
So where is the US Airways - Miracle on the Hudson plane? Its at the Carolina's Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina ! I've been wanting to see it for a few years and so glad I finally got the chance. Flight 1549 is the main event in this place and for obvious good reason. They have every bit of information from the bird strike to the damage done while landing in the Hudson River. Captain Sully is as professional as they come in.
Once the NTSB finished their investigation, the this Airbus A-320 was donated to the CAM in Charlotte. They basically brought it there and set it up. Very little else. Its seemingly parked there exactaly how it was when pulled out of the Hudson River. Pretty cool! The sighs of the bird strikes are very incredible. A must see!
From Wiki- US Airways Flight 1549 was an Airbus A320-214 which, three minutes after takeoff from New York City's LaGuardia Airport on January 15, 2009, struck a flock of Canada geese just northeast of the George Washington Bridge and consequently lost all engine power. Unable to reach any airport, pilots Chesley Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles glided the plane to a ditching in the Hudson River off midtown Manhattan. All 155 people aboard were rescued by nearby boats and there were few serious injuries.
The incident came to be known as the Miracle on the Hudson, and a National Transportation Safety Board official described it as the most successful ditching in aviation history. The Board rejected as unrealistic the suggestion that the ditching could have been avoided had the crew immediately returned to LaGuardia or diverted to nearby Teterboro airport.

Miyo-wicehtowin Walk - Isabel Okanese - Lateral Love in Hope BC
This information come from Miyo-wîcêhtowin Walk YouTube Channel. Share ths video and donate to see Isabel to the East Coast.
Tawow! ᒥᔪ ᐄᐧᒉᐦᑐᐃᐧᐣ Miyo-wîcêhtowin Living In Harmony Together Walk is a Healing and Unity walk to end Lateral Violence in all of our Indigenous communities on Mother Earth. This walk is for all people of Indigenous decent regardless of blood quantum to come together as one family.
Whether you are Metis ( half Native or less) , Status, Inuit, Non-status Indian or part of another Indigenous group, we are all family. We can still maintain and respect all our cultural differences. It's time we come together and stop the Lateral Violence amongst all of our peoples. All Nations are invited to walk and pray for the health and well being of our Indigenous people world wide. We walk and pray all around Mother Earth, and ask for forgiveness for how we have treated one another. We pray and act collectively so we all heal each other, our communities, and families so we are healthy once again. Together we take action so we come back together as one.
This walk will take place from May 5 - October 31, 2015 to highlight it's us who need to make the changes within ourselves and not expect government or Band council or someone other than ourselves to fix this issue. Putting an end to Lateral Violence is an individual effort based on having impeccable speech and impeccable behaviour.
My name is Isabel Okanese and I am Oji-Cree from the Turtle Clan. I am a healthy, Traditional Lifegiver who is 43 years old. I am not from the rez and I don't have status. I have experienced Lateral Violence in my own life from family, friends and my own community.
I had a Nephew who was raised on the rez say to me once: You are a white woman we are not family. I was at a powwow when I asked a friend who is the woman that was standing in front of me, My friend stated to me If you were Cree you would know who that woman is because all Cree people know her. Ever since I was a little girl I have felt rejected, ostracized and ignored by my own people and other Indigenous people. My list is long and my story is not uncommon. So my heart is warmed when I am accepted by other Native people. I still love all indigenous people regardless of how I was treated in the past.
I forgive those who have used Lateral Violence against me and I work hard at not participating in it. I still want to help my people and other Indigenous people. I want all of us to stop participating in Lateral Violence.
Are you wondering what Lateral Violence is?
AS define by Wikipedia:
Lateral violence is displaced violence directed against one's peers rather than one's true adversaries... Members of low-status ethnic minority groups face greater stresses....
In Australia and Canada, lateral violence is widely seen as an intergenerational learned pattern and major social problem in indigenous communities. ...
Lateral Violence occurs within marginalized groups where members strike out at each other as a result of being oppressed. The oppressed become the oppressors of themselves and each other. Common behaviours that prevent positive change from occurring include gossiping, bullying, finger-pointing, backstabbing and shunning.

Official Hudson Yards Construction Time-Lapse
Watch EarthCam's 4K time-lapse movie to see construction progress for Hudson Yards in New York City. From December 2012 to March 2019, EarthCam’s cinema-quality gigapixel cameras documented each stage of Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States. More than 3 million megapixel photographs and 500,000 hours of imagery were archived, including ultra-widescreen panoramic views of Manhattan cityscape.
“It’s been a rewarding experience working with The Related Companies to document this iconic development”, said Brian Cury, CEO and Founder of EarthCam. “The massive scale of this project presented unique challenges, requiring continual reprogramming of more than 72 unique robotic camera angles positioned around Manhattan’s West Side and across the Hudson River in New Jersey. We hope this time-lapse does justice to the story of this epic achievement.”
