Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki 4K - ハウステンボス - Japan As It Truly Is
Huis Ten Bosch is a Dutch theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki. You will feel like you are walking through a town in the Netherlands.
The detail put into the buildings is astonishing. Even some Dutch who have visited the park really feel like they are in their own country again. At least until they go inside one of the buildings, and find only the outside looks like home. Some visitors love Huis Ten Bosch while some others find it a big Potemkin village. You will also find a lot more signs in English instead of Dutch. But given how few people learn Dutch outside of Holland, it's not too much of a surprise.
But what makes Huis Ten Bosch so beautiful is during the flower seasons - like the tulips in March, or the hydrangea in June. Here you can see the hydrangea exploding in bloom all around you. And unless you are visiting Sasebo and can try something better elsewhere, you can also eat the famous Sasebo Burger, which is essentially a BLT cheeseburger with some egg salad topping.
You can also experience other amusement park rides like the Ferris wheel, zip lines, bungee jumping, water park, and other carnival type things. Night time also makes a big light show.
Japan and the Netherlands have had a trading relationship going back over 400 years, hence the creation of Huis Ten Bosch. The park was established in 1992 but went bankrupt in 2003 with a 2.2 billion yen debt. It was reorganized and is now owned by H.I.S. which is a major travel agency in Japan.
Although it is made to look like a Dutch town, you'll get a curious mix of music in various places, like Frank Sinatra's New York, New York, Domenico Modugno's Volare, and Hotel California by The Eagles. It's sorely doubtful you could have only Dutch music playing all around you (know any tunes?). But it does make you wonder who picks these things.
The music you hear was piped through around the hydrangea garden as well as the Huis Ten Bosch palace. It was hell to identify the compositions, but here it is in full hi fidelity.
This is the first 4K video of Huis Ten Bosch including the palace so enjoy it - with no yapping, no hammy theatrics and no over-gesticulating talking heads. This is Japan As It Truly Is!

Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in the Kyushu island of japan specifically in Sasebo city, Nagasaki Prefecture. It is Considered as a Small Europe which models the streets and views of some european towns such as towns in Holland during the Middle Ages.
HUIS TEN BOSCH(1.52 km²) is said to be
1.5 x BIGGER than:
TOKYO DISNEYLAND(0.465 km²),
TOKYO DISNEY SEA(0.49km²) and
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN(0.54km²)

Exploring NAGASAKI | Huis Ten Bosch (ハウステンボス)
I went to Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan for the first time and stayed at Huis Ten Bosch for 3 nights! It's a great theme park and I highly recommend visiting it at night. The food in and around the park was amazing too!

Japan Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki - 4K
Had the opportunity to check this place out. Is a wonderful theme park with lots of great attractions, the ride is probably not as mainstream as the ones you find in Disneyland or Universal Studios, but this place sure has its own charm in a very unique way. Highly recommend to visit when you are in Nagasaki

A Day in Huis Ten Bosch, Nagasaki - Europe of Japan
Huis Ten Bosch is a famous theme park in Nagasaki, Japan. Spent a day here and saw lots of picturesque European scenes - Dutch towns, mostly, which they beautifully recreated in this theme park. The light show at night was really magnificent combined with the music that surrounded the whole park - no video would give justice to how beautiful it was but I tried!! Haha!

Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan, which recreates the Netherlands by displaying real size copies of old Dutch buildings. Seasonal flowers further enhance the attractiveness of the scenery. The world's biggest class light ups. The entire park is a game space, and with music shows. Several hotels with a European theme are located around the theme park.

You probably have not heard of Kyushu. And that's excatly why you should go. It's an experience of Japan like you would never have when you just go to the big, touristy destinations like Tokyo and Osaka. And more importantly, IT'S CHEAPER!
Here's how we went around North West Kyushu in 7 days, and how we experienced both the big city and the countryside of Japan. And we are sharing with you what we call a 'visual itineraray.' NORTH WEST KYUSHU 7-DAY TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival
1. Arrive at Fukuoka International Airport
2. Take the free airport shuttle to the domestic terminal for the subway station.
3. Take the subway to Hakata, have dinner at nearby restaurants, and explore Hakata a bit. (Option B: Take the bus directly from the airport.)
4. Transfer to Sasebo via train from Hakata Station. (Option B: Take the bus from Hakata Bus Center.)
5. Spend the night in Sasebo.
DAY 2: Explore Sasebo!
1. Visit the 99 islands Aquarium and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. (Take the P2 Bus from Sasebo Station)
2. Take the 99 Islands Cruise.
3. Take the bus back to Sasebo station, then take the train to Huis Ten Bosch.
4. Explore Huis Ten Bosch. (Tip: The pass becomes cheaper after 4 pm)
5. Have dinner at Huis Ten Bosch.
6. Spend the night in Sasebo.
