The leaning temple of huma is situated in Mahanadi banks. It is 22 km away from the sambalpur district of odisha state .
This temple is worshiped by Hindu Lord Shiva ji. he has made king balaram dev before sambalpur.
This temple is started in 1545 and was completed in 1560 . This temple has a length 200 ft and wide 120 ft .

Huma Temple History, Sambalpur
The Leaning Temple of Huma in India is one of only two leaning temples in the world. It is located in Huma, a village situated on the bank of the Mahanadi, 23 km south of Sambalpur in the Indian state of Odisha. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Lord Bimaleshwar.
Apart from the main temple the Bhairavi Devi temple is situated to the left of the main temple and Bhairo temple is situated to the right of the main temple. According to historical records Sambalpur's first King Raja Balaram Deb built this temple (1545-1560 A.D.). The rest of the temples were built during the rule of King Ajit Singh (1766–1788 A.D.) of Sambalpur.
It is not known if this structure is leaning by design or from another reason. While the edifice leans, the pinnacle of the temple is perpendicular to the ground. .

This is a shiv temple and the temple is slightly tilt naturally and its a beautiful place and there are large kudo fish.And in the middle of the water there is a Kali temple where there is a story that a women wanted to kill a fish or cut then she turned to a rock and she is being worshiped in Kali temple. But unfortunately we won't have enough time

Sambalpur is a major district in the western part Odisha located in the Mahanadi River basin. Sambalpur comprises of multiple tourist destinations of India however in this vlog I got a chance to visit Asia’s longest Hirakud Dam, the only leaning Huma temple of India and famous Sambalpuri shopping destination Gol Bazzar. We started early form Deogarh but took more time to cross Badramba ghat & temple coz of extremely bumpy roads. Post Badramba Gahat we got some good roads which became even better once we drove towards Sonpur route.
Huma Temple: Huma, the Leaning Temple of Lord Shiva situated on the left bank of the Mahanadi, in a village 23 kms south of Sambalpur. The Leaning temple was built in the reign of Baliar Singh, the fifth Raja of Sambalpur. The surprising thing is, the main temple tilted to one direction and other small temples tilted to some other direction. And within the temple complex i.e. within the boundaries of temple, everything found to be in tilted condition including the boundaries. Now again the angle of inclination is not changed since last 40/50 years as said by the villagers and priests. Behind the leaning temple on the river bank a special species of fish are found called as Kudo fish. They are said to be so tame that they will eat sweets and other foods from the hands of those who bathe close to the temple. During auspicious days they are called by their names and given the prasad of the God. Here nobody tries to catch them as they are believed to be the assets of the God.
Hirakud Dam: Hirakud Dam is built across Mahanadi River, about 15 kms in outskirts of Sambalpur. Behind the dam extends one of the biggest artificial lake of India called as Hirakud Reservoir which is 55 km (34 mi) long. It is one of the first major multipurpose river valley projects started after India's independence. We watched the spectacular view and sun set of Hirakud Dam from Gandhi Minar/ Watch Tower with a 360 degree rotatory top.
Gole Bazaar: Gole Bazaar is the main merchandising area of the city. It is famous for special Sambalpuri handloom and other textile products.
The other major attractions of Sambalpur are Maa Samaleswari Temple, Ghanteswari Temple, Deer Park, Chiplima etc. which I will cover upon my next visits.

In India (Huma) inclined temple is one of the only two tilted temples in the world. It is located in Huma, a village situated on the banks of Mahanadi in the Indian state of Umasa, 23 km south of Sambalpur. The temple is dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva. In addition to the main temple, the Bhairavi Devi Temple is located on the left side of the main temple and the Bhairo temple is located on the right side of the main temple. According to historical records, Ganga Vamsi Emperor Angabhima Dev-3 built this temple. The temple was built by King Balir Singh, who was the fifth Chauhan king of Sambalpur. The remaining temples were built during the rule of King Ajit Singh of Sambalpur. The temple is located on the rocky cot on the banks of Mahanadi river. The base of the inclination can not be considered as technical errors at the time of formation. It is not easily acceptable that the weak foundation could be due to the temple's inclination. Due to flood currents in Mahanadi or earthquake river, there may be internal displacement of the rocky bed affecting the direct currency of the original temple.
In other words, the temple peak has become a little distracted by its original system and as a result, the body of the temple is tilted. This fact has not been denied that it has attracted the attention of historians, sculptors and other researchers. Surprisingly, the main temple is tilted in one direction and other smaller temples have been tilted in some other directions. Within the temple premises that is, within the boundaries of the temple, according to the villages and priests, everything has been changed in the last 40 years, in the condition of a sloping condition with borders and angles of inclination. The reason for the inclination can be due to some geological reasons, the earth's layer may be uneven in the structure. The angle of inclination has yet to be measured.
