Off the Beaten Path China - Away from Hunan Changsha City Center - [Small Girl Big World]
Continuing from my previous adventure in Hunan, I will move away from Changsha city center, visit the outskirt and tour around the off beaten path of this capital city of Hunan China.
I stayed at my brother's place which is at the edge of the Changsha city. I took about 30 minutes to 45 minutes car ride from the center of Changsha.
If you love to see the city center of Changsha, I did make a video about it. I share the link to that video below. This video, I will bring you around the residential neighborhood of Changsha. I also bring you to a local park, the Hunan Forest Botanical Garden where many old folks and family come here for exercise and brief walk. I am please that I visited this park at a right time as it was late autumn and i still manage to catch a glimpse of the autumn's redness.
At the end of the video, I bring you to experience the local wholesaler market as well as local dry market.

스톡홀름을 구성하고 있는 열 네 개의 섬들 가운데 시민들에게 가장 사랑받는 곳이 유르고덴이다. 특히 예순 개나 되는 스톡홀름의 박물관들 중 유명한 박물관은 모두 유르고덴 섬에 있다 해도 과언이 아닐 정도라고 한다. 나는 건물의 외관부터 눈길을 사로잡는 바사호 박물관으로 향했다. 현존하는 배로는 가장 오래된 전함 바사호는 스웨덴의 국력이 막강하던 아돌프 구스타프 2세 시대에 건조됐다. 총 길이 62m, 최대 폭 11.7m, 높이 50m, 승선 인원만도 450이나 되는 거대한 전함. 바사호는 독일의 30년 종교전쟁에 참전하기 위해 1628년 부두를 출발해 처녀항해에 나섰지만 돌풍을 만나 바다 속으로 영원히 침몰하고 만다. 그후 바사호는 1956년 사람들에게 발견돼 침몰 333년 만인 1961년, 다시 세상 밖으로 끌어올려졌다. 왕실 전함인 바사호는 전함이라는 말이 어울리지 않을 만큼, 배 전체가 180개에 이르는 조각으로 화려하게 장식돼 있다. 특히 배의 꼬리부분은 황금으로 덮여 있어 스웨덴의 영화로웠던 시절을 짐작케 한다. 박물관에는 바사호에서 발견된 유물들이 한쪽 방에 전시돼있었다. 300년이 넘는 세월에 바닷물이 쓸어가서인지, 아니면 누군가에 의해 도둑질을 당했는지, 왕실 전함에서 건져 올려진 보물이 달랑 반지 한 개라는 점이 조금은 의아했다. 사실 스웨덴 나라도 북유럽의 다른 국가들처럼 바이킹의 후예들이 사는 나라다. 9세기부터 바이킹의 활동영역이 넓어지면서 스웨덴은 발트해와 흑해 사이의 중요한 무역거점 역할을 했다.

The Han Empire first recorded diplomatic relations with the province at the end of the 2nd century BC. It became the seat of a Sino-Tibetan-speaking kingdom of Nanzhao in the 8th century AD. Nanzhao was multi-ethnic, but the elite most-likely spoke a northern dialect of Yi. The Mongols conquered the region in the 13th century, followed by the Ming dynasty.
From the Yuan dynasty onward, the area was part of a central-government sponsored population movement towards the southwestern frontier, with two major waves of migrants arriving from Han-majority areas in northern and southeast China. As with other parts of China's southwest, Japanese occupation in the north during World War II forced another migration of Han people into the region. These two waves of migration contributed to Yunnan being one of the most ethnically diverse provinces of China, with ethnic minorities accounting for about 34 percent of its total population. Major ethnic groups include Yi, Bai, Hani, Zhuang, Dai and Miao.
