Sarnia: Our 125th Year Documentary, 1982
To celebrate 125 years, Sarnia held a year of events in 1982. The 125th Anniversary Committee oversaw the execution of this series of events, and put together this documentary that captures many of these special moments. The original 16mm film is part of the Lambton County Archives collection and has been digitized to facilitate access.

The 12th annual Polar dip was held in Owen Sound on Saturday, March 19, 2011 as a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. More than 50 people took the plunge into the icy waters of Georgian Bay, some in very strange garb. The event raised almost $14,000.

The grand opening gala for Irving Bubbalowe's classy new restaurant quickly becomes a recipe for disaster when the famous singing chef, Francoise LaPlouffe, fails to arrive.
When an unemployed drifter is persuaded to step in at the last minute and don the master chef's apron, chaos and confusion ensues ... complete with Chicago gangsters, a hot-blooded immigration officer, an illegal shipment of booze, and a tee-totaling Mountie.
