Six Flags St. Louis Full Tour - St Louis, Missouri
Six Flags St. Louis, originally Six Flags Over Mid-America, is a theme park located in Eureka, Missouri. Owned and operated by Six Flags, the park opened on June 5, 1971, as the third of the company's three original theme parks. It is the only one of the original 3 Six Flags parks to be both owned and operated by Six Flags. (The other 2, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Over Georgia, are owned by limited partnerships and operated by Six Flags.) The park was conceived by Six Flags founder Angus G. Wynne in the 1960s and was designed by Randall Duell. Its layout consists of eight themed areas, each of which contain numerous attractions, dining locations and live entertainment. The adjacent Hurricane Harbor water park is free with park admission.
Since its original opening in 1971, the park has undergone many changes, most notably of which are the replacement or renaming of all six of the park's original areas in the 1990s, as well as the addition of two new ones.
Areas:
Six Flags St. Louis is divided into eight themed sections, all of which were added after the park's opening or renamed. The park is laid out in a Duell loop, a design concept that was often used by park designer Randall Duell.
1904 World's Fair:
1904 World's Fair is the main area of the park, named after the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, which ran from April 30 to December 1, 1904. The area features the Mall of the Mid-Americas, a shopping mall complex that features many foods introduced or present at the fair, as well as buildings themed to the time period of the early 1900s. The area was previously named Missouri from the park's opening until 1994 season.
Attractions:
Moon Antique Cars
Colossus
American Thunder
Gateway to the West:
Gateway to the West is themed after the old colonial times of the state of Missouri, and features many references to locales and people that have lived in the state. The area opened in 1993, taking over a part of what was formerly the Missouri section of the park.
Attractions:
River King Mine Train
Thunder River
Chouteau's Market:
Chouteau's Market is themed after a French market along the Mississippi River. It is named after Auguste Chouteau, the founder of the city of St. Louis. The area opened in 1993, replacing France. In 2014, the area was expanded to take over a piece of what had formerly been the back of Studio Backlot.
Attractions:
Tsunami Soaker
Spinsanity
Studio Backlot
Studio Backlot is themed to the backlot of a movie studio in Hollywood. The area originally opened in 1995 as Time Warner Studios, but was renamed Warner Bros. Backlot the following year. In the first couple years, the area featured five interactive movie set experiences based on various Warner Bros. films, including Bonnie and Clyde, Little Shop of Horrors and Maverick, all of which were retired after the 1997 season. The area's name was changed again to its current name in 2002, though it mostly retains its previous theme.
Attractions:
Batman: The Ride
Ninja
The Joker Inc.
DC Comics Plaza:
DC Comics Plaza celebrates the worlds of DC Entertainment, with multiple attractions based on various DC characters and properties. The area opened in 1996, replacing the Spain section of the park.
Attractions:
Log Flume
Shazam!
Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis
Britannia:
Britannia is based on the country of Great Britain as it was in its medieval period, including elements from Arthurian legend. The area was named England from 1971 to 1992, then Great Britain in 1993, and it was given its current name in 1994. The area's distinct theme has been largely ignored since 2007, with two attractions having no thematic connection to the rest of the area.
Attractions:
Grand Ole Carousel
Dragon's Wing
Speed O'Drome Go-Karts
The Boss
Xcalibur
Pandemonium
Supergirl: Sky Flyer
Illinois:
Illinois is loosely themed to the city of Chicago. The area was formerly known as Old Chicago from 1971 to 1993.
Attractions:
Screamin' Eagle
Tidal Wave
Superman: Tower of Power
Boomerang
Fireball
Bugs Bunny National Park:

St.Louis Six Flags Mother gets Real on Lefty Pushed Foreign Influence on American Jobs
The St.Louis Six Flags gave us a horrible experience including laughing at us and misunderstanding us with purpose. We were unwelcome since the first shop and restaurant we walked in. We have season passes so in the future I'll take pics of this and may release some thoughts on it. Thanks for the views! Like and sub for more spicy racist right-wing fascist content as the left call people who disagree.

Ninja: History and Review (Six Flags St. Louis)
Many have called it one of the worst roller coasters, if not THE worst roller coaster, in the United States. But how bad is it really? My curiosity was sparked when I found out that this Vekoma looping coaster was started by Arrow Huss and built for an extravagant world's fair in Vancouver, Canada. This is the history of Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis and my personal take on the controversial ride.

SUMMARY
=======
The California Gold Rush (1848–1855) began on January 24, 1848, when gold was found by James W. Marshall at Sutter's Mill in Coloma, California. The news of gold brought approximately 300,000 people to California from the rest of the United States and abroad. The sudden influx of gold into the money supply reinvigorated the American economy, and the sudden population increase allowed California to go rapidly to statehood, in the Compromise of 1850. The Gold Rush had severe effects on Native Californians and resulted in a precipitous population decline from disease, genocide and starvation. By the time it ended, California had gone from a thinly populated ex-Mexican territory, to having one of its first two U.S. Senators, John C. Frémont, selected to be the first presidential nominee for the new Republican Party, in 1856.
The effects of the Gold Rush were substantial. Whole indigenous societies were attacked and pushed off their lands by the gold-seekers, called forty-niners (referring to 1849, the peak year for Gold Rush immigration). Outside of California, the first to arrive were from Oregon, the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii), and Latin America in late 1848. Of the approximately 300,000 people who came to California during the Gold Rush, about half arrived by sea and half came overland on the California Trail and the Gila River trail; forty-niners often faced substantial hardships on the trip. While most of the newly arrived were Americans, the gold rush attracted thousands from Latin America, Europe, Australia, and China. Agriculture and ranching expanded throughout the state to meet the needs of the settlers. San Francisco grew from a small settlement of about 200 residents in 1846 to a boomtown of about 36,000 by 1852. Roads, churches, schools and other towns were built throughout California. In 1849 a state constitution was written. The new constitution was adopted by referendum vote, and the future state's interim first governor and legislature were chosen. In September 1850, California became a state.
At the beginning of the Gold Rush, there was no law regarding property rights in the goldfields and a system of staking claims was developed. Prospectors retrieved the gold from streams and riverbeds using simple techniques, such as panning. Although the mining caused environmental harm, more sophisticated methods of gold recovery were developed and later adopted around the world. New methods of transportation developed as steamships came into regular service. By 1869, railroads were built from California to the eastern United States. At its peak, technological advances reached a point where significant financing was required, increasing the proportion of gold companies to individual miners. Gold worth tens of billions of today's US dollars was recovered, which led to great wealth for a few, though many who participated in the California Gold Rush earned little more than they had started with.
