Husedalen oppover fra KInsarvik i Hardanger er med sine 4 fantastiske fossefall er en majestetisk naturopplevelse av de sjeldne. Dronning Sonja er da også på vandring her fra tid til annen og så finner vi jo også dronningstien i dette området. Det første fossefallet du møter på er Tveitafossen. Like etter kommer Nyastølsfossen. Så flater elva Kinso ut noe og så er det bare småfosser og stryk i et nydelig landskap frem til Nykkjesøyfossen. Etter den er det flatere igjen frem til Den Søtefossen og etter den er du på Hardangervidda. Veien videre etter Tveitafossen er stengt med bom og det er kun de som har eiendommer der inne som har nøkkel.
Husedalen (Husevallley) in Hardanger, Norway is with its 4 fantastic waterfalls, a wonderful nature experience. Queen Sonja is also walking here from time to time and so we also find the queens trail in this area. The first waterfall you encounter is Tveitafossen. Soon after, Nyastølsfossen comes. Then the river Kinso flattens out and then it's only small streams and rapids in a beautiful landscape until you arrive at Nykkjesøyfossen. After that it is flattens out again until you arrive Søtefossen and after that you are at Hardangervidda. The road ahead after the Tveitafossen is closed with a gate and only those who have property up there has a key.

It's back! It took a while, but the first entry of Running Waters season two is ready. In this episode (part one of two) I travel to Husedalen in Kinsarvik to photograph the four beautiful waterfalls there: Tveitafossen, Nyastølfossen, Nykkjesøyfossen and Søtefossen. I know I was there last year, but I figured I have learned a lot this last year and though I could improve my photography a bit. Also, it's one of my favorite places in the world :)

Husedalen Valley - Nyastølsfossen
Nyastølsfossen is situated in Husedalen Valley and it is 84th highest waterfall in Norway. The waterfall is the second of four large waterfalls along the river Kinso .Video recorded in April 2018.

This video starts with me approaching Søtefossen, the last waterfall in Husedalen Valley. This beautiful waterfall comes straight from Iceland or the work of Tolkien. I find a magical island, photograph the sunset and the sunrise, and give Husedalen my final rating :)
Husedalen Valley is widely considered to be one of Norway's most beautiful hikes. It contains four, that's right, four waterfalls in rapid succession. I originally planned to feature this location at the very end of this series, but then I thought: Why wait.

The fourth beautiful waterfall in Husedalen, Hardangervidda, Norway. The locals named it Søtefossen which means the sweet waterfall in Norwegian. I agree that the waterfall is a very sweet one. The water stream is powerful so this waterfall is one of the main sources which supply the local area with electricity. When you are trekking to this top waterfall you will pass the three other beautiful waterfalls. The video was taken on June 8th 2012.
