Alice is a New retail reception robot. She can be used in 27 applications, pls check detail from attachments.
Main functions:
1. Voice interaction & control
people communicate with the robot through intelligent interaction not only by simple dialogue (Chinese, English and Japanese versions only, other languages need to get access to relevant Countries’ chatbot and resources which requires software engineer’s second programming). Also by voice command to instruct the robot to go through the places where you want her to go, for example, please take me to XXX”, then the robot will implement your instruction.
2. Trackless Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance:
The robot moves based on laser sensor, which can not only navigate between fixed points but also designated points to points. There would be two ways of obstacles avoidance: bypass or stop, the robot will choose the right one smartly and continue her way ahead after the obstacles avoidance.
3. Head& Arm Joint intelligently move:
Joints of both arms and head can achieve 2 ODF.
4. Initiative guest function:
Proactively say hello to customers when his/her face is detected
5. Route directions, a guide to points:
When there is someone asking her in front or click on her display, robot shall show them to the designated place
6. Introduction and teaching:
Let robot introduce or teach you the things by touchscreen interface, as well setting the targeted points and specified
7. Printing tickets (Customized)
Install one printer under her chassis port, the printer can connect with the robot as an external drive.
Slot card (customized): collect the information of VIP members, bank cards, and ID, with which information to achieve certain functions.
Charging: she can automatically back to charging file by herself when the battery is low.

Approaching Typhoon Swan Brings Rains to East China's Zhejiang
The approaching typhoon Swan, the 15th of this year, has brought gales and heavy rains to east China's Zhejiang Province, as it is expected to arrive at the East China Sea on Sunday evening with renewed strength.
Affected by typhoon Swan, many cities in Zhejiang were battered by heavy rain over the weekend.
In Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, heavy rains on Saturday night caused flooding in a few neighborhoods.
Quite a number of shops and residential houses in the communities were inundated in knee-deep flood water.
Local government and property management companies have started emergency response and deployed personnel and water pumps to drain the floodwater.
We are now using three water pumps to drain the floodwater and we also blocked the water from flowing out. The water is expected to recede soon, said Yu Yongxiang, director of the municipal engineering department of the Haiyan Binhai gardening construction company, whose team was draining water at a worst-affected residential community.
Huzhou City in northern Zhejiang on Saturday afternoon closed five sluices along the Dongtiaoxi River that flows through the city in order to reduce flood risk in the plain east to the river as the city has been receiving continuous rains since last Thursday.
The approaching typhoon triggered huge waves lashing a breakwater at the Kanmen harbor, creating a spectacular scene.
A few tourists were seen braving the gales and water splashed out as the waves lashed the structure.
