Chaos as mass brawl erupts outside UK nightclub as 'crushed'
Clubbers clashed with bouncers during a mass brawl outside a packed nightclub in Watford, as hundreds of revellers were turned away at the door.
Video of the chaotic scenes outside Pryzm nightclub shows a huge crowd of people shouting and screaming, with many struggling to keep their footing in the surge.Fighting appears to break out in some areas of the push while bouncers can be seen standing guard in front of the club's closed doors.
Trouble started in The Parade at about 1am on Tuesday, after the venue reached capacity and bouncers began turning away revellers - some of whom had bought tickets to the night.Millie Field, 19, told the Watford Observer she and a friend suffered cuts and bruises as a result of bouncers pushing people to the floor.
She said: It was an absolute disgrace and it was a perfect example of bouncers asserting their 'authority' over paying customers.
To have police there as back up is embarrassing.
Another witness, 19-year-old Emily Black, said she saw one man with his leg trapped under a collapsed metal barrier while hundreds of furious revellers trampled his limb trying to get in.
She added: It was one of the worse experience of my life.
