Wading Ten Mile Creek near Poplar Bluff, Mo.
This is a past adventure from July 2017. My husband, Jeff's favorite way to fish is wading a creek. He normally goes alone, bc he's a great swimmer (& I am not), & it's his time to enjoy the solitude & nature's serenity; however, he knows I like to fish & love nature, as well, & sometimes he wants his favorite companion (blessed, me ????) to share it with him. He picked this creek, for us to wade, bc it has great paths running along side it, in case of deeper spots that I don't feel safe swimming through. We wore jeans bc of the possibility of encountering snakes. This trip we saw a Great Blue Heron, but unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to get a pic. Another beautiful place we frequently visit in our home state.
