Halifax and Vancouver may be on different sides of the country, but that's not going to stop us from some friendly competition. We might even learn a thing or two from each other in the process!
Watch the first round of Halifax vs Vancouver where we discuss the differences between cycling on the East and West Coasts.

Gardiner & Don Valley Parkway - Toronto City Cycling (Ride for Heart 2019)
This video shares the first 33km of my 75km ride at the Ride for Heart 2019 event. During this event, the city closes the Gardiner Expressway and the Don Valley Parkway, and people who are registered get to ride their bikes on either a 25km, 50km or 75km route. Later in the day there is also a 5km walking event. This event is the only opportunity in the year when you are allowed to ride your bike or walk on these restricted highways.
The bike I was riding is a non-folding Linear Limo Recumbent Bike. I filmed this using my new Yi 4K+ action camera mounted to the main frame tube of the bike at the front using a custom 3d printed plastic bracket. I recorded the audio with a Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone.

Our group raised over $250,000 dollars which was donated to Ovarian Cancer Canada, The Livestrong Foundation and Craigs Cause for Pancreatic Cancer.

We left Halifax, Nova Scotia and rode 4,300km to Austin, Texas where we join up with Lance Armstrong and his signature LiveStrong Challenge event.
Follow us as we do it again in 2009!
