Sri Sri Radha Govind Dham (Hindi: श्री श्री राधा गोविन्द धाम), commonly known as the ISKCON Ahmedabad Temple, is a well known Vaishnav temple of Lord Krishna and Radharani in the form of Radha Govindji. Opened in 1997, the temple was available for public viewing near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, located near the satellite area of Ahmedabad, India. ISKCON Radha Madhav Temple opens in Ahmedabad
Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today inaugurated Hare Krishna – Radha Madhav Temple on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya and said that temples have become centre of values and knowledge for the people.
Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel lauded various religious and cultural work of Hare Krishna Movement and said that Akshaypatra Foundation has been playing important role in mid-day meal programme without earning profit. She assured to provide facilities to expand operations of Akshaypatra across the state. Mrs. Patel expressed commitment to provide nutritious food in schools and anganwadi of the state.
Hare Krishna Movement has constructed the temple in 10 acre land at Bhadaj village at a cost of Rs. 35 crore. The organization has been providing mid-day meal to about 4.80 students of primary schools through Akshaypatra Foundation.
