The Reykjavik by food tour takes you around the streets and into restaurants to taste of some of our delicious and bizarre traditional Icelandic food. In between places, your host will introduce you to Icelandic food customs and traditions while suggesting different restaurants for you to try.
We will stop at selected restaurants and cafés for a taste of the food we learn about. The tour starts from the ITM Information Centre in Bankastræti 2 at 12:00.

Dark early-morning arrival into Iceland after an overnight flight. Landing after us and seen in the distance was WOW air A321neo TF-DTR operating WW118 from Baltimore, which I had tracked on Flightradar24 during descent on Icelandair's WiFi service. I didn't get a particularly coherent photo of it because I barely know how to use the hand-me-down camera I'd brought with me in dark conditions:
This was a day before WOW's takeover talks with Icelandair ended unsuccessfully, and a few days prior to WOW air's shutdown and was thus the last WOW air service I witnessed.

Information:
Icelandic Sign Language (Icelandic: íslenskt táknmál) is the sign language of the deaf community in Iceland. It is based on Danish Sign Language; until 1910, deaf Icelandic people were sent to school in Denmark, but the languages have diverged since then.
It is officially recognized by the state and regulated by a national committee.
Icelandic Sign Language is distinct from spoken Icelandic; in 2011, the Icelandic Ministry of Education stated that, in the Icelandic basic curriculum, Icelandic Sign Language is the first language of deaf people, while spoken Icelandic is a second language.
Therefore, deaf Icelanders should learn Icelandic Sign Language as their first language and Icelandic as their second language.
Táknmál is the Icelandic language word meaning sign language.

Over the past year I've been recording clips of London every time my friend wants to go and tests one of his cameras....yes he buys a lot of cameras! He also likes to timelapse so usually I video him or video the scenary and that's how this whole video started.
Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out a way of stringing a proper story together during the edit so I suppose you can take this as a moving picture book.
Hopefully this gives any visitors an idea of what to look out for when in London as the scenery and landmarks can be pretty stunning.

SUMMARY

The hydrogen economy is the use of hydrogen as a fuel, particularly for electricity production and hydrogen vehicles; and using hydrogen for long term energy storage and for long distance transport of low-carbon energy.
The hydrogen economy is proposed as being a part of the future low-carbon economy.
In order for human society to move away from the hydrocarbon economy, hydrogen is considered as its combustion only releases clean water, and no CO2 to the atmosphere. Hydrogen gas itself can therefore be considered a clean fuel.
Hydrogen gas, however, does not occur naturally in convenient reservoirs; it must be produced from other sources.
Steam methane reforming is the dominant method of doing so. Around 96% of the hydrogen produced annually today is produced by this process.
The purpose of the current production of this hydrogen is as an industrial feedstock, primarily for the production of ammonia, methanol and petroleum refining. Around 96% of the worlds hydrogen is produced from natural gas steam reforming. The remainder is produced as a byproduct from electrolysis processes such as chlor-alkali. Small amounts of hydrogen are produced by the dedicated production of hydrogen from water.
The production of hydrogen from both the natural gas steam reforming process and the dedicated water electrolysis process are hampered by unavoidable efficiency issues.
Using fossil based electricity to produce hydrogen from electrolysis , and subsequently using that hydrogen in a fuel cell has a negligible effect on CO2 emissions (depending on the fuel used for the electricity production).The production of large amounts of clean electricity (from renewable and nuclear resources) must therefore first be effected, before hydrogen can become an effective energy carrier.
